My story of success in GKV

College environment is good except the political parts. Political parties of university always do false promises and try to betray students.you can't get a big campus but if you want then you can get people with big hearts

I wrote AIEEE which is currently known as mains and i got an all india rank of around 50k i was alloted gkv in counseling so i took admission here.

I am doing B.tech which is a 4 year duration course consisting 8 semester in the field of electronics and communication engineering in which a total of 45 subjects with 26 practicals and two projects are being taught.

I did my internship from bhel, haridwar. Which was a paid internship. I paid 800 for 1 month training. My area of training was cnc and plc machines and study of plc drive.

Placement and job opportunities are good but you need to be a good student to get placed in any company. I am placed in wipro in my 7th semester.Major companies who visit our college for placement are wipro, tcs, genpact, hcl, jk technosoft etc.

College do not organises too much events but some events,conferences, symposium are always organised in our college every year in collaboration with iisc bangalore and is ca haridwar chapter. We also organise our national techfest and cultural fest jnanagni every year.

Comparing to the other colleges fee structure is very good in gkv, as it is a central government college you only need to pay around 60k per year for your college fee.

As i am a delhi general student so i do not get any scholarship from anywhere but my friends who are from other states like up, bihar,haydrabad etc get fee weaver scholarships from government. Their lots of criteria for fee weaver for minorities.

Campus life is good. Ragging do not exist in gkv . We do not go for parties that much. Sports activities are handled by sports in charge of our college. We always organise inter faculty cricket,football,volley ball , basket ball, squash, badminton, tennis etc tournaments in our college.

hostel facilities are nice but i can't say anything about mess. actually i lived in hostel only in my 1 st year. at that time mess was not that good. but after that mess was given to some other company and as my juniors say right now mess quality is good.

College faculty are always in touch with the alumnus of our college. We usually have a alumni meet in jnanagni every year in which alumni always share their experience with the students.

Exams structure is good. I want to tell you one thing if you want to cheat in your exams then go to other colleges. We are having a very strict rules for exams. You can't take anything with you in the examination hall not even your wallet. Labs are also g

Faculty is nice and cooperative. If you are curious to learn then faculty is always ready to teach you. It totally depends on students that how they want to shape their future. faculty will always ready to guide you at every stage of your life.
