Remarks

As we discuss about fee structure then I can proudly say college takes less fees among all maritime colleges. Hostel facilities is good but food quality and tasty is below satisfactory level. And Placement is very poor.

Course Curriculum Overview

Indian maritime University course curriculum is best among all and Exam will be held on every six month that is semester wise. Between the semester mid semester exam are conduct. 3marks is weighted to mid semester exam and 70 marks weghted to final exam.

Placement Experience

Our college placements is very poor they don't provide any jobs even they don't call company for placement. In our batch only Eleven Cadets are placed out of two hundred. No Internship is provided by college.

College Events

MIT persona fest is celebrated in our campus in every February month of year. Also state level sports meets is held. And ganesh puja is also celebrated in our campus for 8 days. Other some small small event celebration take place.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As per as Fee structure is concerned so I will say marine courses are expensive that's why my college fee is approx 12 lacks for B.Tech Marine engineering and 9 lacks for B.sc nautical science. That's all about fee structure.

Fees and Financial Aid

You can take Loan for these courses. The loan facility is not offered by college but you have to take loan from hometown. But they provide all the documents which are requires to take a loan from bank.

Campus Life

Extracurricular activities are provided by college like every year organise state level sports meet. Sports like all indoor games badminton, table tennis, gym and outdoor games like cricket, football etc are organised. Lab facilities is good for all the courses.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes almost senior helps the junior reqarding any doubts and safety concerned. But they don't refer any company for placement. They also guides for career and tells us how to survive on ship and how to follow safety on ship.

Admission

Through Indian maritime University entrance exam. Indian maritime University conduct exam and according to marks and rank they provide college. There are various maritime colleges in India and this affiliated college of Indian maritime University.

Faculty

All facilities are well educated and supportive. The They understand the students problems and give extra time to cleat there doubts. They also help in any project and guide accordingly. That's all about faculty.

College review for better selection for better opportunities in future

Placement Experience:

From 4th Year students are eligible for campus placements. The companies that visites my college campus are accenture, capgemini, tcs and many more . The highest package students get places are 12-14 Lakhs per annum and average pakage is around 4-5 lakhs per annum . The percentage of students get places is around 60-80% and majority of them are from CE and IT . Many of them try to get placed from off campus due to their desired companies they want to join or they want more packages

Placement Experience:

In Kit college their are some rules for placement drive. In 7th sem companies started to visit our college. During my placement my engineering percentage is around 70 and I am able to attend every drive. Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. The unplaced students have decided to go for MS.

SAKEC- best college ever

Placement Experience:

Sakec have many job/internship opportunities. The college provides different trainings and intership opportunities. Currently, in 2023-24, 42 students have alreday been placed with 25 LPA (highest CTC offered). College have tie-up with many reknowed companies. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. My plan after getting the degree of bachelor of engineering is to go for masters and acknowledge more and more knowledge in engineering filed. And be my level best. I'm also looking forward for opportunities to go abroad for my mtech degree. Future my expectations form college are High. I'm sure being a student of such prestigious college with help me alot.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.

After 6th semester, Students are eligible for campus placements. ONGC GAIL SAIL IOCL etc are companies with an average package of 10 to 12 lakh per annum. Placements are more than 80% ,it mainly depends on the skills you develop. Not as FireMan, as Fire Officer at least.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm choosing this course because I'm interested in programming languages. Faculty members here are at the best level. They are very supportive and knowledgeable. They made lectures most interactive. All faculty members are well-qualified and experienced. The course is very vast but the teaching faculty cover it through their extra lectures and practicals.

An awesome journey.

To sum it all up iam delighted that I opted for this college. I got placement in one of the best companies because if this college placement cell. This college has a great infrastructure and all the necessary aids for the successful completion of my course. The management is very helpful. The faculty altogether is really good and upto the standards when it comes to knowledge and experience.The only area where my college needs an improvement is in the staff during the first year of our college as a lot of newly graduated students are appointed as tea hers which are not able to take the pressure.
