Remarks

On the last note there is only good remark i can give u. I hardly can or u can say i don't have any bad remark to submit to u about my "these college days" and living a "life of a DUite". and the college manangement is always there to listen to u and help

Entrance Preview

It was a particular entrance specified for the BBE(Bachelor of Business Economics) course held by the Delhi University. and i scored good enough to get into the rankers list and as per my rank i got the college i am studying in i.e "COLLEGE OF VOCATIONAL STUDIES" which is one of the top listed college in the DU south wing.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Talking about this particular BBE course. It's more like a professional course which is implimented and started by the university of delhi as a innovative grad course which combines the knowledge and contents of various other root orthodox courses like commerce, economics, marketing skills including mathematics based on the calculative part.so, u can say it's a vast and interesting course.

Internships Opportunities

A lot of local companies and firms are on constant basis always there in our colleges for placement drives and to hold seminars. so there they are always to call for the internships. But till now i havn't went for any internship bcoz there are some terms and conditions that if u do internship in your 2nd year then u can't opt other in the 3rd year. so, most probably i will doing my internship in the 3rd year catching any big fish u know.

Placement Experience

4

I alreay mentioned in the answer for 3rd question. there's a lot of companies waiting outside as well as sitting inside our college for picking up heirs through placement drives in premises regularly and sometimes it's get too crowded . the employer counting for the new heiring and jobs in abundance for the students cum employee making it a open door for both with fair opportunities to all.

College Events

4

There are a number of socities working in our college which are inter-connected to all the other college of delhi university and students from here and there always go and come during all kinds of events and festivals either it's cultural technical managerial or sports fest which i love the most because there's always a lot of medals and trophies waiting for a participant like me...naming some of them are TATVA(cultural), RUNBHOOMI (our owned sports fest),ASD, FFP..and many more by FIC,Enactus,M.Soc,Mercadeo, etc

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible because u know this is delhi university a central govt. owned and functioned university so u can expect the fees to be less than other private universities right.Along with that DU already has that all kind of provisions and reservations for the deprived sections SC ST and other minority groups which every college of DU promotes and follows. They are given so much liberality in fee submission. In general(excluding the reserved category) Fee for BBE course for 1 year is 20000 INR (including examination fee).

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, DU do provide scholarships and loans to the students and our college do follow all the procedures and systems as being a college of Delhi university.Scholarships for University of Delhi Students for the year 2015-16. Vice Chancellor Student Fund for Delhi University students in educational institution' - University grants commission. Partibha Puraskar 2015. Delhi Sanskrit Academy and many more to name.Various types of financial aid are available for undergraduate students at DU. scholarships, loans and student employment are all considered financial aid.

Campus Life

4.5

Look my course is not a science course dealing in robotics innovatins newtonian physics and einstein equations.our Business economics course as per the name suggests it already makes it clear by it's name only that it's related to economics and business knowledge and ideas so science has no significant part role in BBE cours. what we study is completely different from science . we study the market up and downs stocking profits losses and economic status situation of of our country and observing comparing with the rest of the world interpreting deciding on the development going in a developed country as like of our's and what's developed countries are doing..yaa , politics is a topic like no one untouched about.it can be related to our way of studying because we read and we conclude how changes in the government gonna change and affect the money value market and development of our country. We use to have a lot of fun and enjoyment together participating every where and all the communal society gender sex based awareness debates amoung our college students and use to share a lot of ideas clearing everyone doubts and wrong views as per society perspective.

Hostel Facilities

4

This is the sad part that there is no hostel facility in our college. But planning for college hostel is going on. so students of our college lives in PGs and rented flats which cost them around 6000 per head and additional 3000 to 4000 for the foods depe

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, we are very much interacted and connected to our seniors and the pass outs who are alumni we always call them on any important events and fest in our college .they use to visit us whenever we need them if they got the time if they are busy in their daily schedule we manage and adjust all those things to take some time out for a fruitful meet.so u can say the interaction and network is so friendly amony all of us whoever are in college or passed out.so this is so far experience of mine with the college and the students.

Exam Structure

U know there is always some kind of class unit tests viva going on particularly in BBE course of ours..so we are more like got habitual to it and in this way our syllabus gets covered thoroughly a no. of times which is important and benefitting as per ach

Faculty

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. The examinations also are based on applications, thus, helping us to enhance ourselves in all possibilities.

I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
