Remarks
The college do not have good medical and transportation facilities. The nearest hospital is in Pauri (11km from college). Also it is tough to find transportation after 6 pm from pauri to college and vice versa.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course cirriculum is a bit old and needs to be modified especially in computer science. The exam structure is their are 2 class test (each of 15 marks) in each semester and a paper of 100 marks at the end of each semester along with practicals.
Placement Experience
The placements and job opportunities are not as good. TCS or Wipro ony of these companies visit the college and recruit students. However sometimes companies like BEL my come if your luck is good. The college do not provide internships however they may provide you summer training.
College Events
Their are three main events in college which are organised annually. 1 JOSH : This is the annual sports fest of college organised in the odd semester in which the various sports are conducted. 2 GOONJ : This is the cultural fest of the college organised in even semester. 3 SPANDHAN : This is the technical fest of college oragnised before Goonj.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible. The tution fees of college is 25000 per semester. The hostel fees are around 2000 rs per semester. The mess fees is Rs 11000 per semester. There are nominal fees for sports and other facilities.
Fees and Financial Aid
Their are various scholarships which the college provide to meritorious students and for minorities students. However if you have scored good in JEE Mains then you can avail TFW scholarship from the government.
Campus Life
The lab facilities are good in college and their are labs for each and every subject with all the equipments. The sports facilities are not so good. Their is no basketball court. The ground is also not good for outdoor games. However college has a good badminton court, volleyball court and other indoor games.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel infrastructure is good however the facilities may not be good. The hostel is not clean but you will get used to it. Their is no medical facilities for hostels. However each hostel has libraries and you can also issue sports equipment for yourself.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network of college is helpful and may help you in getting internships. However if there would be a alumni meet in college it would be good but hope in upcoming years it would get organised. The seniors are helpful and may help you in your studies and other doubts.
Admission
After completing intermediate, I apperared for JEE Mains paper. After the result I applied for Uttarakhand counselling where I selected colleges and I got call from this college based on my score in JEE Mains. I verified the documents and and took admission in the college.
Faculty
The faculty of the college is good and has a good knowledge but are a bit reluctant and some faculties do not give their 100% in teaching. However they can help you in clearing your doubts as they have vast knowledge in their respective fields.
