Remarks
There is nothing special about this college. You should only join this college if you want nothing except graduation degree. The college went through strike one year so it was under controversy and has a bit of a bad image in SPPU.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum was similar to rest of the colleges in SPPU. 8 semesters with 5-6 subjects each semester. Exam structure was also similar like other colleges. Also, college conducted internal practice exams.
Placement Experience
Yes college has placement opportunities as well as internship. Although, I got my job offcampus. The placements are conducted centrally for all colleges under Sinhagad institute. Job offering packages are decent with average of 3.5lpa.
College Events
One thing good about this college is the annual event called Sinhagad Karandak. It is the largest college fest in entire Pune. Many high class celebrities visit during the fest. There are live concerts, dance, singing and fashion show contests during the fest.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is on the average scale. It follows the reservation scheme and has different fees for different reservation categories. The fees for open category is around 2,50,000rs per year. It is excluding food and hostel charges.
Fees and Financial Aid
I dont know of any such thing. I think there is no such thing in my college. How am i supposed to write 200 characters if i dont know anything about it? So I am writing this to complete the criteria. Hope this doesn't break the rules.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities include dancing classes, coding classes, etc. There are many sport options available but there is a lot of politics in getting in the college playing team. So you should have good connections and know some seniors so you can get in.
Alumni/Alumna
There is no alumni network of college. Once you get out of college, there is no connection between you and your college. Your relation with the college ends there itself. You can contact senior students who live nearby in hostels.
Admission
The admission was through CAP rounds conducted by Government. The college was alloted in first round itself. The college was at 9th position in my college list. After the college was allocated, I had to visit the college and complete the admission process in entire day.
Faculty
Very bad faculty. Since the intake of college is very high, there is a chance you might not even get noticed by the faculty. They are very partial towards few students. Show unnecessary strictness. Some senior faculty members are very arrogant.
