Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee is one of the greatest colleges in India, known for its academics and research, and the students here also excel in culture and sports. It also had a great infrastructure. The faculties, as well as the facilities, are nice

The course curriculum is okay. We have 8 semesters here and in each semester there are midterm examinations, end-term examinations, viva, practicals, and quizzes. We have labs on a weekly basis, tutorials, and lectures.

The placement and internship opportunities are good here. Various campus interns and placements are provided to the students in core as well as non-core. Also, the coders and web developers get more opportunities than the people going in the core. The stipend varies from 20,000 to 2,00,000

Various types of events are held in our college. From the cultural festival, Thomso to the technical festival, Cognizance. Social summit, E summit, and Sangram, the annual sports festival is also held here. Apart from these, various intra and inter bhawan tournaments are held, cultural and sports competitions. Then there are workshops, guest lectures, alumni meet, etc

The fee structure is a bit expensive as our semester fees are 1,40,000 but we are provided with various scholarships and fee waivers depending on the economic conditions of our family and on the basis of merit. Thus, it becomes feasible and affordable.

The hostel infrastructure and facilities are nice. We are given meals 3 times a day, snacks and fruits. The room facilities are also good. There are double as well as single rooms. The hostel warden and staff are also nice and they take special care of everyone. Various festivals and inter and intra bhwan tournaments are also conducted

Yes, we have an institute alumni relation cell in our campus, and thus a strong network with our super seniors and our alumni. They provide us with full support and help in internships and also during our college fest

I got admission to the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee by giving two exams, jee mains and jee advanced followed by counseling in which we have to fill our choices and there were 7 rounds where we were having options to freeze, float, and slide

The faculty of our college is experienced. They have a thorough knowledge of their subjects. They are good at their research work. Constantly looking for new projects and researches. They go very often to foreign to represent iit, Roorkee at international level at various conferences
