Remarks
The colleges has a real good infrastructure with Air-conditioned classrooms. It boasts of a large campus with a modern and large playground. The canteen is also good with lots of varieties of food. It is also building a new boys hostel.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is desgined so as to impart the technical as well as experiental learning to the students. Its a mix of theoretical, mathematical, practical and presentable approach. The exams are held twice a year.
Placement Experience
The highest placements are offered to both BCom and Economics students with packages touching even 15LPA, the averagr surfaces around 4-5LPA. We have seen many big MNC's like EY,Bain and Co, Google coming in for hiring.
College Events
There are many societal events which can range from dramatics to music. The college also has its own Divinity society which also organizes its events. The annual college fest that is Lashkara is organized in the month of February.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is at par with the DU standards. It ranges from 15k to 25k annually which includes all the costs covered. It is feasible as most of the students are able to pay it. There are scholarships for toppers.
Fees and Financial Aid
I availed the Australian Awards Scholarship which is a fully funded scholarship to cover my Masters In Economics at University of Sydney, Australia. Apart from that the college greatly pushes its students to avail more such offers.
Campus Life
College is well knowm for its sports activities. It ranks among one of the top colleges for science studies and has well equipped labs. The college also provides its students to enroll for some sport activity and excel.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network helps to bring in more placements to the campus. In a way they also help to train students for the same and apprise them of the general trend. The societies are well connected to their peers.
Admission
Admissions are done via the central authority of DU. Cut off lists are produced and as per your 12th Board marks, one can go and avail the admission. There is also a minimum requirement presecribed for every course.
Faculty
The faculty is well experienced and learn. But currently we are mostly understaffed. Faculty has a strong emphasis on that students should have much practical and rational experience of the subject rather than just bookish knowledge.
