Remarks
Overall the college is good. the college has good social life Fights between branches is one of the drawback though. I mean it happens in almost all te colleges. So I don’t think it’s much a problem. Has good anti ragging cell.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course is bit hectic as it is engineering, there are 2 internal exams before university semester exams. You need minimal marks in these internal exams to appear for university exams. The college falls under KTU university.
Placement Experience
College provides good opportunities. There have been several teams gone for exhibitions and even won prizes in few. Placements are there for who have minimum gpa. They give us placement trainings every week.
College Events
MES TECH ( technical fest ) , one of the best tech fest in south india. Famous indian DJ’s have been here for the fest. Onam program Frizbee (IEEE program ) Inspiria etc are some of the programs and events that are celebrated every year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee is normal as comparing to other private colleges. It’s pretty feasible. Infact there are many scholarships which helps us reduce the fees we pay per annaum. Fees are from 50000 -200000 Different for different branches
Fees and Financial Aid
Mcm scholarship (post metric scholarship ) people who fall under obc can apply for this scholarship. Need at least 60% marks in 12th to apply. And those who score good grades in semester exams get deduction in fees.
Campus Life
MES COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING indulge us in many extracurricular activities such as sports and other activities like NSS( national service scheme ) which helps us to oversee the human values and other important aspects in life.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel has gym , football ground ,badminton space. basketball court Cricket space.etc Television for entertainment and sports. The rooms and washrooms are well cleaned everyday. Infrastructure is bit old as it was established in 90’s
Alumni/Alumna
Yeaah senior students help us in alot of ways , they suggests us what to do and what not to do. In hostel we can seek help from the seniors to study , they will be available for clearing doubts apart from studies we can have a good relationship with them.
Admission
I took admission in the management seat as I didn’t get the merit seat. The management will give you few dates on which we should go and take admission. you should be there with the full fees to paid for 1st year
Faculty
Faculties are highly skilled and helpful. They support us in alot of ways. They speak good english and they can teach really well. HOD’s and all are really nice to us Faculties keep good contact with parents inorder to thrive their ward.
