Remarks
I can just say Hindu College is the best College as far I know. These three years are really unforgettable. There's a lot to enjoy here. Societies, college fest, department fest, Hindu college ELECTION, events, freshers, farewell, grand night, a lot.
Placement Experience
Yes, there are several societies for placements in my college. We have DISHA the placement cell of hindu college. I don't have much info regarding this. Though i can say a little bit. They organise events for placements. Companies are interested too in colleges like HINDU. The package is good too.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I can say fee structure is not too expensive. Its something like moderate. Not too expensive. For an year i a phy hons student pay around 19k including examination fee. Different colleges of DU has different fee structure.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes there are some scholarship for different students. For phy hons there is a scholarship named INSPIRE. If ur marks are good enough then u can get INSPIRE. The money is around 1lakh 20 thousand. You just need to have good marks to meet INSPIRE cutoff.
Hostel Facilities
No getting hostel is not that easy. You need very high marks. Like for boys hostel therr are just few seats from every department. So if your marks are highest among them who have applied from ur department.then u can get hostel. Infrastructure is not that goood.
Alumni/Alumna
Haven't met any alumni of my department. But yes seniors are awesome. They are very friendly. There is no traces of ragging. Our college is best. The environment is such that you can be more friendly with ur seniors than ur classmate.
Admission
Admission is based on marks scored in 12th class. For different courses there are different criteria like for physics and chemistry hons you just need PCM ie Physics chemistry and maths. Some courses require english marks too. For taking admission first you have to fill the application form online. You need to check frequently for this when the dates are for filling form. Most probably forms are filled in month of may.
Faculty
Faculty is really good. They are very helpful. Studying here is fun. Teachers are not strict.they give their best to make u understand. In case u have further doubts you can ask them anytime after class.
