I took only kerala state entrance examination . They took me with respect to marks obtained in 10th and 12th and entrance marks.

Placement Experience

College has very good placement department. The companies who came was Infosys, Ust global, Experion, IBM,etc. The salary package was around 3.5 lakhs per annum . I got selected in UST Global company by completing the interview process.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Total Tuition fee is 83500 and bus fee of 7500 needed to be paid by all student for one year. B.tech is of 4 year programme. Around 3.75 lakhs will be the total cost after completing the course.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have availed MOMA scholarship which gives around 25000 rupees for one year . The objective of the Scheme is to provide financial assistance to the poor and meritorious students belonging to minority communities to enable them to pursue professional and technical courses.

Campus Life

Various extracircullar activities are conducted including teachers day , womens day celebration, etc. Workshops are being conducted by recognised institutions across India in our college for both students and teachers.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are normal and 2 persons are sharing one room. The annual rate is 10000 for one room. The mess fee comes around 3000 for one month and problem with food is always a problem in many hostels usually.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Exam Structure

It was very usual and easy to tackle with. There are two internal examinations and one lab model examination. Sufficient time and days are given before examination to prepare for exam. There is one University exam at end of each semester.

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

I had applied to various coleges. That includes amal jyothi college of engineering and technology and also registered for for rajagiri school of engineering and technology.
