Honest Opinion : My college

I have found students interactive which may be a result of the regress selection process. The management in every section is smooth and reliable. The departments are students focused. Ease of students is the prime objective in the authority. The slight damaging issue is lack of focus for some research development.

The grading system is relative, which I consider to be better than the cumulative system of numbers. The course curriculum is very flexible. Apart from some mandatory departmental courses, we have full authority in course manipulation as per our interest. Exams are the segregation of small segments consisting mainly of end semester exam, midterm exam, practicals, presentation, projects, assignments, viva, and general interaction in the classroom. Students are accessed not only according to the grades scored in papers but the general interest and interaction.

The placement office is a separate segment to help form the bridge to connect the companies and the students, providing internship and placement effectively. The department is trustworthy for the companies as well as students. Both the companies and students are first verified through their provided information and thus making it reliable.

Thomso is a cultural 3 days event which is organized where students from throughout the country are allowed to take part. Cognizance is a technical 3day event Shristi, Rianzo, ESummit.

Rs 100000 per Semester as Tuition fees. Rs 20000 per semester as accommodation fees include hostel and mess fees. Rs 5000 per semester net registration fees. Thus the total goes to almost Rs 125000 per semester which means Rs 250000 per year. I consider it feasible.

The students are given scholarships according to their income status or academic excellence. Students with family income less than Rs 500000 per annum are mostly benefited from various scholarships.

The labs are not completely updated. The college focuses more on graduation than post-graduation education which causes the lag in the field of research. Although a student can sanction lab equipment with necessary steps. Culture and sports Sections are well equipped and managed.

Yes, I have opted for a hostel. I find my hostel to be well maintained and managed. The hostel supervisor is a professor and further supervisors are elected from within the students. This brings a clean environment for problem handling in the hostel.

A good bonding environment is posed among the seniors and juniors with the help of various sections. The groups and sections play a vital role when it comes to student interaction. A separate group of alumni is also active in the campus which aims to connect the alumni to the college and the students to the alumni.

I gave the test of Jee Mains. After qualifying in Mains, I was eligible for JEE ADVANCE. Students get admitted to various IIT colleges through the rank list obtained in JEE Adv. Further, I obtained this seat in seat allotment which happened post-JEE Adv. I was fortunate enough to mark a seat in this college and this branch as per my JEE Adv Rank.

The college supports huge faculty support. That provides help in every sort of field. All the posts and responsibilities are guided by a faculty member followed by postgraduate or senior students. Thus it gives a helpful aid to students. And effective interaction is possible throughout the system.
