College review

Hostels are not allotted to all the students. This is bad remark. Although this is common in all the colleges. The thing is that most people live in PGs or Apartments because of unavailability of Hostels and Area for that is not clean.

Course is briefly defined as a precise criteria in DU. In economics, you study detailed economics but a little lest than Economics Honors of course. In Philosophy, you study Logic in semester 1. The exam structure not much different from other Universities. Practicals, internals and then a theory exam. I don't feel any difference.

As per the previous year records, there were good placements. Internships are made through some societies in the college. College in specific may not create internship opportunities for the students but societies do.

There are many events celebrated in the college. It depends on the societies. College Fresher's of various departments are done time to time in the first year. In second year, you organise it for other students. Other than this there is a famous Diwali Mela organised by National Service Scheme.

The fees in my college is very very Feasible. In fact, it's so affordable in comparison to many many great named Universities. Fee Structure is approx ?30,000 for three years so as the durations of the course. 10,000 each year.

No. It being a government college, scholoriships are offered by the Government itself on National Level only. Schemes are not usually for General Category. If you are economically weak as per the policies you can get the scholarships.

There are certain functions organised by different committees in the college. Sports are most common of them. Our college organised many intercollegiate and interuniversity functions in the field of sports.

Hostel cost ?50,000 for the each year. Although 1 or 2 students get it from each course. So unless you've scored very high the chances are less. Facilities are according to the prospectus. Gym, Mess are some common facilities that I know.

Many personalities passed from the college. Mr. Amitabh Bachchan is one of them. Network as far as I feel is not good. Many great personalities passed out from the college. They are not having a good network. They don't usually visit the college for very long time.

Delhi University sets criteria for Best of 4 Marks in class 12 on Merit Basis. There are some courses in which admission is bases on entrance exams. I got admission through Merit List. In class 12, it should be made sure that you get above 95 at least. This will help you to ascertain your seat in Delhi University.

Faculty in DU quite experienced in their respective fields. They are great with students except some. They are calm in dealing with the students. You get a friendly atmosphere in the college with such faculty.
