Remarks
College faculty is good but some administratives are corrupt as they are lured by many people. College doesn't have any auditorium and Hostels. This creates a very bad image of the college. Any student who studies here, have to live outside on rental flats or PGs, which has increased the rates of the rent in this area. Locals ask for a big amount even for a small sized room.
Course Curriculum Overview
We study 2 core subjects and 2 other subjects ( one as AECC/SEC/GE and second as an elective). Exam consist of 75 marks per subject with 5 questions of 15 marks each. 25 marks are given by teacher on the basis of Assignments, Internal Test and Attendance.
Placement Experience
College has an Internship cell and a Placement cell but they are not much active. Also they provide more opportunities to commerce students comparing to other courses' students. Therefore other students don't get good opportunities.
College Events
Our college has a cultural council consisting of different societies, every society and department hold their fest every year. Also college organizes different cultural events on different occasions. For example - Fresher's Party, Birthday celebration of Shaheed Bhagat Singh with cultural event, Deepawali Mela, Annual Day, Cultural Fest.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible for every student. Being a government college it has very low fees, around 6000-8000 rs per annum. It consist of different funds for the societies, departments, maintenance, library etc. But there is no hostel in the college so the fees is just academic.
Fees and Financial Aid
College provides scholarships to economically weaker students. Also college provides scholarships to the rank holders in the examinations. Their are separately reserved scholarships for SC and ST students.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities are well organized in the college. Sports day, and separate sports day for teaching staff and non teaching staff are also held. Sports room has different games and sports equipments available.
Alumni/Alumna
College have alumni association but I haven't heard much about this. My friends who passed the college recently come to college occasionally. College allows them to enter the premises. They also help students in admission process and guide them whenever needed.
Admission
After my 12th. I applied for studies in University of Delhi, they calculate marks of marks subjects, the new aggregate of marks decides your eligibility for admission in colleges of DU by checking the cutoff list. I was eligible for this college so I came to the college (you have to come within 3 days of cutoff, including the day on which cutoff is released) and then I verified my eligibility on a counter after that I submitted my documents and got admission.
Faculty
Faculty of my college is good but some teachers do not take classes properly. They procrastinate to take classes often. Some teachers are very new that they van not teach us well. But some teachers with good knowledge do their duty fairly.
