Overall college is good. For academic it's good if you attend class regularly and study carefully. For sports it is very good. For placements it's average but if you study hard you'll get a good package.

Then course curriculum for the 1st year students is same for all departments i.e, CSE, ECE, ME, EE, CE, CH etc. department students are studying same thing for entire 1st year. From 2nd year onwards department divided and then you study to your respective department. So basically in 1st year they give a basic knowledge about all departments. In your 1st year they teach basic electrical, basic ECE, basic programming, engineering drawings etc.

I say placements are average here this year 2019 highest package from CSE is 16lpa, from EE is 8.9 lpa and overall average is 6 lpa. But many students crack GATE, CDS and other good exams. I'll tell that don't thought more about placement you'll surely get placed with at least package of 5 lpa but maybe you'll don't get your dream company. Yes, our college provide internship to many IIT and company.

Just after joining the college you have to attend 7 days induction programme, in induction programme they have many sessions to improve your lifestyle, the way you think etc. Then Ganesh puja is celebrated in our college this puja is organised by 2nd year seniors. Hindi saptah- one week program to promote Hindi language. Aayam - Technical festival Moksha - cultural festival

Fee structure is totally depends upon your family income. If you family income is less than 1 lak then you don't have to pay fee for academic but you have to pay for hostel if you take. If your family income is between 1 lak to 5 lak then you have to pay 35k per semester and is your family income is more than 5 lak then you have to pay 77k per semester.

There is a scholarship section in the SAC building. For general category very less scholarship are there but for Obc SC and ST there are many scholarship. If you belong to SC or ST you get 45k for laptops one of my friend get 60k scholarship he belongs to Obc category. You can go to scholarship section they tell you what scholarship you can get.

In NIT Agartala you get one of the best sports complex. Tennis court, basketball court, badminton court , football ground, cricket ground and many other sports are held. Students even take part in Inter NIT championship and win.

Hostel infrastructure is very good in 1st year you'll get double bedded room and from 2nd year you'll get a single room. All time electricity is available water for 24hr and a common room is also there , where you can play caram, table tennis watch TV.

Alumni network are very good. Seniors are very helpful. In our campus don't worry about ragging you don't find a single place for ragging. All the seniors are very humble you even get motivated by seeing some of your seniors. Some of the seniors went to abroad for their MS and other higher studies.

First of all you have to take JEE mains examination and if you qualify jee mains then you are eligible for jee advanced, after the declaration of results if you not perform enough in jee advanced to get into an IIT then you can choose NIT Agartala if your rank is around 15k to 40k for general category in jee mains. After getting mains rank card you have to do a online councling which is done by JOSSA and then by CSAB.

1st year faculties are not at par but some are good but maximum faculties are poor they don't wanna teach you even you don't wanna learn after coming to college but you can watch lectures on you tube to clear your doubt. Now when you enter into your respective department then you'll get good faculties, among all the facilities electrical department facilities are the best.
