My college my 4 years

The positivity of my college is that it sits in the lap of nature here the surrounding is natural and their is greenery all around, no pollution, it's a quite large 365 acres campus which has its own beauty. The negative i find is their is no nightlife. No shops or no online services are available at this location after 10 pm

I can't say about other courses but,Course curriculum is very helpful as per my branch because it is helpful in preparation of future exams.The books which are prescribed by our professor's are standard and they are helpful in future exams and increases the exposure of the course. Talking about the exam structure ,that is like if you are quite sincere then can easily get good marks. Exam syllabus are mostly from whatever is taught in the class. Each semester lasts around 5-6 months including the small breaks. So within this period one Mid Semester exam and one End Semester occurs. While in between these faculties are having internal tests as per their syllabus.

Well it would be better to say that their is branch wise opportunities. Some branches are very well in terms of placements. Here the scenario is that one or two student gets quite good package while others are hired by mass recruiters.Anyone who is not enough careless about his future is well placed. Yes it provides internships as i am a 3rd sem student all my batchmates are provided a winter/summer training program. I will be able to go for winter or summer training program in a PSU "ONGC" after I qualify their selection process.

Their are various active clubs in the college. Some of them are technical and they introduce themselves to the newcomers through organizing a Tech Fest known as ""AAYAM"" which last upto a week. The "HINDI WEEK" is organised by the members of club Aaveg. Another entrepreneurship club organize their event as "CARPEDIAM". The Cultural fest known as ""MOKSHA"" is organised. Then their are many other events as "FRESHERS", "DANDIYA NIGHT", and various sports meet are there All of these are mostly awaited events of the college.

As it is an institue of Government of India , as per the government rules ,Fee Structure basically depends on the income status of the students family. If the family is having an annual income below 1 lac their is no tuition fees charged to them ,they have to pay for hostel,mess and some other basic fees. The amount charged is around 25 thousand per semester. Then there is (1-5)lac income category students who have a concession of 2/3 tuition fee. Rest fees are same.The amount goes to 45 thousand for one semester. Then the category is for above 5 lac income status students. They have to pay all the fees which adds upto 90 thousand So it seems to be feasible for students having different financial background.

There was a scholarship to be given last year to a student during the Techfest after the alumni meet which was funded by our alumnis. Except that some government and private companies scholarships are introduced but are not offered by our college

Under extracurricular activities various clubs are active throughout the year and the students grow as per their technical ,cultural and social exposure and there is good environment. Sports activities and practices keeps going throughout the year as their is active participation in inter NIT sports meet from my college.

Infrastructure is satisfactory but a lot of construction is undergoing as new hostel are behind constructed. Cleanliness is maintained. Some basic facilities that are missing is WiFi and no shops are open after 10 pm.

Yup my seniors which is 3rd and 4th year are very helpful to us and they are well connected to the alumni. Even most of the club's of the college are helped by our alumni if needed. They are helpful for internship and they keep us informing about various scholarships/ competitions.

For admission in NIT's and various other colleges JEE MAIN is the entrance exam. This exam has different cutoff marks for different cast based categories.After the results are over all the process is online.After qualifying the exams there are choice filling for various streams in different college. I filled choices and was offered Chemical Engineering in NIT AGARTALA. After the allocation of seat I had to report physically and undergo verification of documents.After all this I am a student of this prestigious college.

In our college some of the professor are quite good and highly motivating. In those classes only i felt not sleepy. But rest that is mostly does not match the standard.As there is some kind of quota reserved for home state faculties that is quite disgusting and those professor's lack in their purposes. After all this the professor student interaction needs to be improved.
