Understand University college of engineering in depth

Our college is the only engineering college still affiliated with Kerala University. All other engineering colleges have gone under the Kerala technical University. In which have a more tough life. With the fear of year backs and strict evaluation and all. Our college is a perfect magical mixture of academics and extracurricular activities. Our colleges are more than just teaching us our subjects. Teaches us how to be a successful person in life too.

Course curriculum ain't that bad. There are 6 subjects in every semester and 2 labs. Internal exams are conducted twice a semester. Internal exams all together compromise of 50 marks out of 35 is compulsory to pass. And then University exams which are out of 100 and 40 required to pass. Internals plus the university exam marks in total out of 150. And in which, 75 marks are needed to pass the semester.

Placement from many different companies are there like TCS, Wipro, UST global, etc. And other off-campus placements are also brought to our knowledge by our staff. Our college does help us in getting internships in other companies in technopark.

This is the most amazing part of our college. We have a lot of events celebrated with all the energy and glam. I'll start with our main fest. That is ACE. It's conducted once a year. And in this, all the branches and classes compete against each other for the trophy. This fest spans almost a week. Including the off-stage programs. Next comes our charity program. SNIGDHA.in these children from many different orphanages are welcomed to our college. And one full day of enjoyment. With dancing singing and other programs. We also provide them with all their needs like stationery items, random gifts for them, etc. Etc. The main motive is to make them all happy and do the little possible in our own way. And then there are our football tournaments. Cricket tournaments. This is done in the most amazing manner so as every person participating in the match as well as the one who watches also enjoys it. Then comes our onam day celebration. A 2-day program with everyone dressed up in a traditional way. All the dancing and tug of war competitions hype up the energy of our students. And after all these, we do have celebrations for every little occasion and festival like Valentine's day, Holi, etc.

Feasible, merit seat is like 35000 per year and management seat is 65000 per year and then there is another option for NRI student which is a little more expensive but as compared to other colleges is less. That is 1 lakh rupees.

I haven't used any scholarships but I have heard that there is a loan and scholarship facility available for students from not-so-well-off families. One has to apply for a loan or scholarship. Prove that he or she is a worthy student for the scholarship show his family income certificate and then receive the loan or the scholarship.

There are no special coaches and all for these sports. But the students themselves are into all of these sports. Our teams do win tournaments conducted at other colleges. We have the facility for every sport from football to cricket to volleyball, hockey, badminton, etc. A campus spanning over more than a 500-acre area. There's a lot of space to play every sport.

They are really helpful. They all help us by teaching life lessons from their own experiences. They also help us in getting internships and notify us of new job opportunities. They are also willing to spare their valuable time for helping us academically by teaching us our subjects and clearing out doubts.

KEAM is the entrance exam whose rank is required in order to get yourself into this college. Based on the rank in that entrance exam. You will be given the merit seat or the management seat. Lower ranks are needed for merit seats. After writing the KEAM exam and once you get your rank. Then in the Kerala University site. You have to apply for the colleges. You can choose from all over Kerala. You have to rank your priorities for the college. And then if you are lucky enough you will get a seat in our college.

Highly qualified teachers. And student-friendly teachers I would say. Our teachers will never force you to sit in the class or won't ever ask you not to bunk classes. But to those of them who are still dedicated towards their attendance in class. Our teaching staffs make sure they are taught in the best way possible.
