- The location of the college is on the heart place of Trivandrum also very near to Techno park, TCS. Amidst of the University of Kerala campus provides a peaceful college life for every students.
- College clubs which runs in a entertaining way by conducting different events for career development.
- Friendly teaching staffs for making concepts clear also very amiable to students.
Dislikes
- No hostel facilities for Btech students which affects students from long distant students to stay at private hostels or pg
- Building of engineering college is not much big.
- Placement opportunities are there but many students who passout in a year are not getting equal opportunities only some are getting good placements
Course Curriculum Overview
On every semester there will be a one subject which has zero credits as we could relaxly study that subject making it a relieved curriculum. Teachers after completing first half portions of a semster puts first series exam for checking the student growth second series is conducted by completing the next half. Duration of all the University exams will be 3 hours.
Fees and Financial Aid
Year wise fees for one year of Btech for me is 36750/-. At the starting of the first year fees are payed as DD. Placement fees is being taken at the starting of first year. Fees for merit seat is 36750/- per year, For management seat it is 68250/- and for the NRI seats it is 1 lakh five thousand per year. Students eligible for Egrantz scholarship need not to pay the full amount.
Campus Life
There are almost 5 -6 student clubs which is running very smooth and efficiently which provides techno career boosting.This provides student in engaging socially in many activities providing them a very fruitful college life. Also many sports activities like cricket, football, volleyballs, badminton are very well appreciated and welcomed on the college. Sports for girls also very well appreciated.
Admission
I have taken this college as this college is situated on the heart of trivandrum. Also the fees is not much high compared to self financing colleges. The beauty of the entire university of kerala campus is such a vibrancy provides a positive attitude on ourself. Admission process is done through KEAM exams, one should qualify on the KEAM exam if not you have not qualified you can go to NRI quota.
Faculty
Faculties here are very friendly teaching staffs, can access them anytime time for clearing doubts. Each and every faculties here takes a great a initiative in teaching students. There will be two series in a single semester, By taking the average on these two series is how the internal marks will be. Semester exams are conducted at the end of every semester.
Night Life
There is a gym on the campus which is completely free for the students who study over here, it is opened 24×7. There is a central library containing a lot of books which is opened upto 12am, also a library is set on the engineering college block contains every books an engineering aspirant needs. There is no hostel facilities for Btech students setup till day. Private hostels and pg's are available nearby areas to the college. There are many beautiful spots in this college to hangout with your friends.
