Remarks
The campus area of National Institute of Technology Patna in comparison to other National college is smaller. The internet facility provided by college is not good as the unique id's which has been given to every student has many filters.So many of us can't even access YouTube or Skype call through their id's or download or upload other videos from or to different websites.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good as it covers your main courses plus optional courses too for who wants to explore different subjects. And there are also some ethics and communication enhancing courses in freshmen year.
Placement Experience
The placements and job opportunities at National Institute of Technology Patna is very good. Around 95% of IT and CSE departments student gets placement in different multinational companies or start-ups which give very good package to job freshers.
College Events
At National Institute of Technology Patna many different kinds of events are organised. Like for the freshmen there is an freshers party. There are many clubs divided whose responsibility is to organises different events like dance, singing, character play, stand up comedy, sports, quiz, coding competition and many more.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure of the NITs is set by the MHRD in consultation with the NIT Council. For the student with family income below 1 lakh it's around 2k per semester and for 1lakh to 5 lakh it is 24k per semester and 5lakh above it is 62k per semester. It's very expensive for student with family income of 6 or 7 lakhs. I think for the student with family income 5lakh above 62k per semester is much higher it should be around 40k and for the family income above 9lakh it should be like 62k. There should be one more division has to increased in free structure.
Fees and Financial Aid
I don't know about the any scholarship that is provides by the National Institute of Technology Patna but the state government and many different organisation provides the scholarship to students with low family income. But the college though provides the loan facilities to the students.
Campus Life
There are many labs present inside the National Institute of Technology Patna. Though college campus area is small in comparison to other NATIONAL colleges but it has all kind of facilities. Chemistry lab, digital lab processing lab, physics lab, computing lab, workshops etc. And we have different sports too like cricket, soccer, badminton, kho-kho, volleyball, chess etc.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel provided by the National Institute of Technology Patna is very good. The lookwise and the facilities wise too. But as always the worst part of the every hostel is the hostel mess and the maintenance. They provide the worst food and the maintenance budget is very low.
Alumni/Alumna
National Institute of Technology Patna holds every year one alumni meet to encourage their student. Like Bihar chief minister Nitish kumar comes every year in the alumni meet event to encourage the students. And also the seniors are helpful in showing us the path and helping us in exploring different activities to develop our personality.
Admission
For pursuing engineering in the national colleges we have to give the jee mains exam. After qualifying the entrance exam, I got enrolled in National Institute of Technology Patna college on the basis of All India Rank.
Faculty
The college faculty in National Institute of Technology Patna is good but there is some shortage in numbers of available professors. The some professors are very helping in nature as they also there for you in your some personal problems.
