I wrote CAT and AIEEE. Because the college is one of the top college under CUSAT.

Internships Opportunities

Infosys,wipro,TCS etc so many company come for internship.

Placement Experience

Placements are mainly available to CS and IT departments and they offer some real big money for them.

Campus Life

Gender ratio is almost 50:50. No political parties are involved or allowed inside the campus.

Hostel facilities are just average lack of water is a problem.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
