Remarks
There is a overall positive remark from my side. There are some negative remarks but positive remarks dominates them. Overall Impression is good and it can be more good as New campus is going to be construed.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is up to the mark and based on Bachelor of Technology(BTech)degree. Class Test and Assignments are taken on a regular interval. There is mid semester exam and end semester exam in each semester.
Placement Experience
There is plenty of job opportunities in NIT Patna. The last year highest package was of 39.2 lakh. College also provides internship to the student to help them in shaping their future. As I am in first year I don't have much knowledge regarding placement and internships.
College Events
There are plenty of Events organised in NIT Patna. Approximately 1-2 events per week. I got a nice experience in them. It provides opportunities to show off our hidden talents in other field. Recently, Eccentrica 3.0 was organised and CSE department was the winner.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is very less as compared to the private colleges. Approximately, The fee is ?60,000-?70,000 per semester. There is also fee waiver to SC, ST, OBC. Students whose family income is less than 1,00,000 also get fee waiver.
Fees and Financial Aid
As I am in 1st year, I don't have knowledge about scholarship and loan facilities. As far As I know, There is good scholarship for the families who can't afford fees. Loan facilities is also availiable(not sure).
Campus Life
Extra-currical activities is better in our college than any other college. Labs are up -to-date and there are plenty of soprts availiable for us. (Both indoor and outside game). There is also Student Activity Center, which host many events in our colllege.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel Infrasucture is good but not the best. Proper sanitation is required in many areas. The messing service is very good. Hostel staffs ate also very friendly and help chuldern in sorting their hostel problems.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior Students are very friendly and help us in setting our first college experience. Seniors do not involve in ragging and thus the best thing I have came to know about my college. They help us in our studies and at the time of exam.
Admission
The admission on NIT Patna is based on Entrance Exam. I got admission through JOSAA and CSAB counselling. The classes started from 5th august. Admission process was simple and admission staff was helpful.
Faculty
The faculty of NIT Patna is very good. Teachers have good knowledge in their subjects.They are very helpful and clear everyone's doubt. Non-teaching staff is also very good. They help us as well as teachers in many ways.
