EVERYTHING IS LITTLE DIFFERENT HERE

Positive remarks for my college would be that it is a government college with a very less amount of fees and with adequate facilities in terms of study , library, infrastructure etc. But the negative thing is that it is in bihar so due to the political atmosphere college didn't grew or isn't upgraded to a point.

As my college is affiliated to a government university so the course is also designed by the science and technology department bihar And they did a tremendous job with it. They have included all the ethics of engineering as well as the modern requirements too. We have all in all 8 semester to give in total.

See this can be one area where my college fall apart. As my college is in bihar and as we know there is not so many good industries out here so big conpanies don't come often. All though i am placed in hcl but that to i got placed through a campus drive via my university not college but still 5 companies till date have visited my college. No my college doesn't provide any internship in the college itself but create chances for us so that we can do internship from other places.

As i mentioned in the title itself everything is little bit different here. Same with the case of events . Recently we celebrated my cultural fest apart from that we have workshop sports event literary event etc.

The fees is very feasible here. I m doing my btech for only 54k excluding fooding and loging. As my college is a government college so we get subsids for the fees. Also the cost of others things like fooding and lodging don't cost much.

As it is a government college so all the plan of scholarship are taken care by bihar government itself. They provide scholarship to obc and sc/st students. Plus my college provide education loan to students from sbi.

Facilities for extracurricular activities,labs,sports etc are not so good because of unprofer funding by the bihar government in this zone. By Still my college is able to maintain a gym , a football field , a cricket pitch , three volleyball courts and 2 badminton courts.

Yes surely they are helpful. As my college was established back in year 1954 so we have a huge alumni network . Current directors of ongc and bpscl are our seniors. And all the psu in india and all top private companies have a presence of our seniors.

We have to give an entrance exam named as BCECE which comes in 2 stages i.e. prelims and mains. After mains you get a government college in the state of bihar. But now the process is changed. Now the entrance is based on jee mains score.

As my college comes under technical education quality improvement programme so we have professor from mhrd as well as from bihar government. All the professors are well qualified and have a great understanding for the subject.
