The best government engineering college in Kerala not only academically but overall vibe of the college is best,because of various fest's and other activities conducted in the college.you won't know the years passing by as you study here,and if you study well,you will have a valuable btech degree in your hands.

Curriculum is a bit tough when compared to Kerala technical university.exams are semester based,there are a total of 8 semesters.Two semesters in each year.there are two internal exams in a semester,the total mark is on 100,60 for external and 40 for internal,you need 50 overall to pass.

Placement record of the college is very good,every year many students are placed to various companies like TCS, wipro ,amazon,etc.and other branches like ship technology and fire and safety has high placement percentage when compared to the rest of the branches.

Tech fest : dhishna. (3days) Engineering Arts fest: vipanchika(4 days) University arts fest : Sargam (5 days). The fest's are the best part of cusat,that you can't find in other colleges.There are various other programs conducted by the students like,hostel fest's,fresher's party,Halloween party,diwali party etc.

48000 per semester for all India merit,24000 per semester for state merit.The fee is feasible when compared with private universities,and for Kerala based students the fees is not at all a problem as it is only half of all India merit.

There are various scholarships for obc and sc st students,and for general students there is a fund provided for buying laptop its about 20000 rupees.there are no other scholarships given for general category students.

There is annual sports meet for all departments of cusat and other colleges under Cochin university. Other programs like ted x and stunt shows are conducted in the campus,and there are cultural fest's with competition like drawing,painting etc

There are a total of 8 hostels in cusat.in which 4 are for btech students.2 for girls and 2 for boys,the two hostels for boys are "sahara hostel" and "sagar hostel".The second hostel" sagar" is for obc and post metric students

There is a society of btech alumni students which provide financial assistance for economically backward students.they are very helpful as they give necessary instructions for us to pass the exams with high GPA,they are very friendly and some of them work in reputed companies all over India.

There is an all india entrance exam called cusat CAT exam.After the entrance they decide a cutoff rank and short list the students to different branches.There were 4 allotment's in total,and I got allotted in the fourth allotment to information technology branch.

Faculty quality is different in different branches,faculties in IT branch is good,when compared to other branches,we have high tech labs for all kind of software studies and electronic labs for electronic studies.
