Remarks

Overall I can say my college is an average college and provide opportunities in academics as well as cultural and sports Area. Infrastructure is very good and location is very good . Faculty is average.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen electrical branch as per my area of interest .it's a very good course . In my college every details if this course is been given and 2 sessional test and 1 external exam takes place in each semester

Placement Experience

Placements are not so good in my college as it is located at a very height . companies do not come if they come then they take only computer science branch students. College provide internship once in a year .I had a very good experience about internship.

College Events

In my college one cultural event that is goonj takes place every branch takes part in it . One sports event that is JOSH takes place I used to take part in it. One technical event takes place that is spandan.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure is medium and feasible but I have taken study loan. Tuition fees is 25000 per semester and 13000 per semester for accommodation and food.All other fees like exam fees , medical fees etc are included in itself.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is being provided to obc /sc/st students every year by government at national scholarship portal . Loan facility is also provided there is a beach of SBI bank which provide children loan for their studies.various other scholarship like scholarship for army background students, merit scholarship,etc.

Campus Life

There are various activities that takes place in our college like cultural activities like nukkad natak, etc takes place. labs are also present in our college for various subjects.sports activities takes place .All these activities are very good .

Hostel Facilities

Yes I have opted for hostel .hostel infrastructure is good but facilities are not so good like food quality is not so good . I will rate 6 out of 10 for hostel facilities. Indoor game facilities are also present.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Alumuni network is very good and senior students in our college are helpful . They help in academics and in developing internal growth as a student as well . My senior have helped me at various times .

Admission

I have given the entrance exam (mains) after class 12 after that I had got an all India rank then I have done online counseling on that basis I have been given this college and I have chosen my interest of branch that is electrical.

Faculty

Faculty is not so good and not so bad. Some of the faculty teaches very good .they help us in our subjects and take extra classes as per our need while some faculty don't care about their subjects . Overall faculty is average.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

From the 7th semester you can sit on the placement drives.. Multiple companies visited like accenture,adobe,tcs etc. The percentage is little bit low this year..i have not much knowledge about it right now. I will try to get a good job.

aspects of curricullum that influenced my desicion to take admission: technical based courses are available. a well defined infrastructure. seperate buildings to involve in different regions of technology. available technical courses with updated and advanced syllabus with great faculty and seminars of different active clubs like google and microoft club. Responsive faculty and well managed curriculum to focus on specific areas of each students to make them better in the region of technolgy where they want to grow. mid level toughness with regular tests and end sem combining the internal and external practical exams.

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

-i have no choice to choose other college because my jee rank was not so good and in private college there fee structure is very high so I have to choose this college over other colleges. -yes i am rejected by many college because my jee rank was too low to get there admission. - you have to clear jee mains exam to get admission in my college. I applied for this college only as my parents allowed for this one only as it is closer to my home. The college lacks a bit in terms of infrastructure as compared to other colleges in the region. The placements are not good enough. To take admission into Btech 1st year in this college, one needs to give JEE Mains exam and UKSEE for lateral entry and 12th merit is accepted for admission in Biotechnology.
