It's the second best college in the state after IIT Patna so I would suggest you that our college is worth its name and if you come here you will never regret your decision.These four years will be a story for your lifetime .

The course curriculum has been designed after proper research and a lot of thoughts.It basically doesn't keeps you confined to only one field rather lets you have the basic knowledge of almost all the fields of engineering. The exam pattern is just like any other such instituition .We have 8 semesters all with a mid semester and one end semester exams .We also have some class tests in between . Semester wise grading points are given per semester as well as their cumulative (CGPA) is done after each passing semester based on SGPA.

The placement are really good for the CSE guys .We the mechanical guys get about 70-80% placement with an average package of about 6-7 lakhs .That's Ok for an mechanical starter .Some of the reputed companies like Alstom,Vedanta ,L&T ,Tata, Hero motocorp etc. Come for recruitment from mechanical with many others such companies.The highest package for owe senior from mechanical was at about 12 lakhs.The CSE guys have an average package of about 10 lakhs with highest package of about 30-35 lakhs.

Many technical and cultural events take place in our college.We have an annual techno-cultural fest named Corona and Melange that takes place in last week of January every year.Also we have an inter departmental fest named eccentrica which takes place in October-November every year.Many technical clubs are also there which organise their events from time to time .The is also an interdepartmental sports week round about the time of tech fest.

The tuition fee is same for all the NIT's at 62500 per semester.But if you are from an economically weak background you do get an waiver in tuition fee as people with annual family Income of less than 1 lakh get an complete waiver on tuition fee and those with income between 1-5 lakh have to pay 1/3rd of the total fee.Other than these there are other annual or one time admission charges of about 2000-3000. The relaxation of tuition fee for the lower income people is one the best steps the govt. has taken in recent years to provide education to all .

I availed the tuition fee waiver offered for family income under 1 lakhs . According to this I don't have to pay any tuition fee as my parental income is less than 1 lakhs.Also there is an branch of Allahabad bank in the college premises which Provides loan to the students as well.

There are a lot of extracurricular activities to be done in my college like we have a dance club ,music club ,literary club etc .Also we have an yoga club as well .Kudos to modiji.We have teams of cricket , kabaddi, Volleyball, football,Table tennis , badminton etc.so if you are a sports loving person then you are at the right place.Most of the labs are modern equipped but still exceptions are always there.

Yes ,I have opted for hostel in all the three years and I can proudly say that not patna provides some of the best hostel facilities to its students.We have an 11 storey hostel with complete accommodation for 2nd ,3rd and 4th year boys.The infrastructure is awesome and some of my friends compared it with hotels.The first year boys get separate hostel with 3 students per room .All other years students have 2 students per room.Thers is a separate girls hostel accomodating all the girls in the college campus.All the PhD and m-tech students also avail the hostel facilities.

Yes , there is an alumni association in per college which conducts an Alumni meet every year.And coming to the seniors they are really helpful.First of all our campus is completely ragging free so you can easily talk to your seniors and they are really helpful .They will guide you through your tough times as they have the past experience.

I gave the jee mains exam for the year 2017 and secured a rank of about 24000 in the general rank list .Based on the previous year college and rank list experience I did the online choice filling cum counseling .Based on my filled choices I got alloted Mechanical engineering in NIT patna in the first round itself.Further I locked my choice and got the admission in NIT Patna by submitting the required documents and certificates.

Some of the faculty are quite good while the others not quite there .The faculty student ratio is good in my college.Some of the teachers like our H.M.T ,Mechanics ,S.O.M , Machine design professors were really good and gave there best.It also depends also on you that how much you can get out from them.If you are devoted enough you will always find a solution to your queries from the faculties.
