Remarks
The positive thing about this college is that it it situated in the valley of Dehradun and in a very beautiful location. The location of the college is top of the class. The social life in college is also very good. The only negative thing I see about this college is lack of space.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Course curriculum is appropriate as per my opinion The College conducts 2 exams One internal and one external followed by 2 quizzes The marks distribution is as follows -Interal exam(25 marks) -quiz 1(5 marks) -quiz 2(5 marks) -practical exam(20 marks) -Exteral exam(40 marks) -Class Test+Assignments (5marks)
Placement Experience
Every year around 95% of the students are placed from this instituition. Around 130+ organisations visit this college and hire around 500 students each year The average package per student is around 3.07 lacks p.a and the highest package last year was of 25 lacks p.a( in Amazon). The college provide paid and unpaid internships for final and prefinal year students.Getting internship from college is very easy as lot of new organisation approach this instituition in search of talented interns.
College Events
The College has numerous events throughout the year The year starts with Fresher's Party Then after the fresher's party we have our Sports day in September Then the main event of the college is the College fest College fest last for 3 days which include flee market, celebrity night,DJ night Apart from these 3 main events The various committees of college organizes various games and events every month.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible.Even though it is a private organisation the fees is appropriate. It charges around 8 lacks for technical courses(ex. Btech) and 4 lacks for non-technical courses (ex. BA).
Fees and Financial Aid
The college has good scholarship offers for students.The university topper of every course gets 100% rebate on their tuition fee on their next semester's fee. I don't know of any loan facility offered by my college but it gives 40% rebate on tuition fees of students those are the residents of Uttarakhand. The college also reserve 40% of the total seats for Uttarakhand students
Campus Life
A lot of activities are offered by the college.Depending on one's interests one can join various clubs and can participate in various activities like poster making, computer coding, international language , music etc. The college has every laboratory required for the courses it offers labs. The college gives equal importance to sports as well, sports day is organised once a year. The college also has its own Cricket team, Basketball team, football team.
Alumni/Alumna
The Alumni who are placed in different organizations from this college give frequent feedbacks and share experiences of their Jobs etc. The college organizes frequent seminars which comprises of Alumni who share their experiences. Yes, they are indeed helpful because we get the idea of how the college will provide us with jobs and how the job interview can be cracked.
Admission
The College has several ways of getting admission The College is situated in Dehradun, Uttarakhand therefore 40% seats are reserved for the residents of Uttarakhand plus 30% rebate on tuition fee. The procedure is as follows: 1. Online Registration 2. On the reporting day Merit lists are displayed as per class 12 marks and JEE score Then students are given there courses accordingly
Faculty
The College has good faculty with good experience and knowledge.I am satisfied with the faculty of this instituition. Each department has its own Head of department and faculties. All HODs are Doctor and scholars from renown instituitions
