If you look in a way that we don't have to do assignments a lot or projects or maybe taking many leaves, then it is good. Moreover you also get to enjoy quality time with your friends in college or going for a Techfest in other colleges. If you look at negative side like the teachers aren't that good or maybe they should focus more on practical than theoretical then its bad. Because of being on rural side we are missing exposure too therefore the private reputed companies don't come to our college

The course is basically the same as the syllabus of gate. The entire year has been broken into two semester mainly consisting of 5 subjects and 4 labs each. Other than that there is one more thing GP which consist of 50 marks in a semester. The course is good to study and u will found everything to be useful. It might Not best for the competitive exams but more or less it will be helpful. Talking about the exam structure you can see the exam for each semester consist of 1000 marks here. 5 internals consist of 250, 4 internal lab consist of 100, 500 for five external subjects, 100 for lab in external and last 50 marks for GP. Internals happens in the form of two class test.

The placement in this college are good for ece and cse students if u do know some language. If not it's very difficult for u to get placed on the wipro came here for recruitment. But the college can take the student to the different place or institutes where the placement has held the it means the college is quite supportive in this. Yes the college provides the internship too. It can be Bsnl ghaziabad, noida, vizag or to any iit if u brilliant enough. U should have a good skills and a dedication to learn and should hold good relation with faculties. There is no stipend as they all are Paid but the college will pay for this

There are lot of events celebrated like josh annual sports and goonj annual cultural events. It consist of many things some of them are Craft workshops Host a workshop where students can make their own dorm room décor — think plant hangers, terrariums, or recycled frames for their art. Get inspiration from Pinterest, Instagram, or Etsy for the latest crafting trends. Cooking classes keep students healthy and prepare them to start being more self-sufficient. But make sure your cooking classes have an enticing theme and plan dishes that are easy, cheap, and college-student friendly: mac n’ cheese, stir fry, homemade ramen, or pho. Look to Big Brother/Big Sister programs for inspiration to pair up senior students with freshman. You can also be more specific with the pairings, like pairing first-gen college students with older first-gen students who understand their experience, or creating an LGBTQI+ mentorship program or event. Battle of the bands You can count on any college campus to have a plethora of musically inclined students. Offer local bands the chance to perform in a bigger on-campus venue and compete for best-in-show. Even if it’s not a “battle,” you can still theme the event based on music genre or make it into a mini-fest with food stands and dance floors.

The college fees consist admission fee, academics, hostel, mess, newspaper, TV, examination, library, etc. The total course fee is around 45k-50k per semester. The student who has a quota of their category can get a scholarship by a national scholarship portal, they can get total tuition fee back except hostel and mess fee which is mandatory.

Scholarships are given as per government of India norms other than that to first 10% toppers of all branches of some 6000rs. I myself have availed same 2 times. Loan facility is not available being low fees and government college.

Committees. Technical. Literary. Cultural. Sports. Organising. Clubs. Photography Club. Art and Craft Club. Coder's League. Biotech Club. Robotics Club. Societies. ISTE. E-CELL. SAE. SEE. ECS. CESTA. These all are going to organize number of events which shows active participation of the students as well and help in their overall growth too. In sports every sport is going to be played here. There is an annual sport josh in which all the sports happen with full gene. Lab are good and have sufficient number of equipments to work. The campus life is awesome. Extra curricular activities like robotics competition, quizzes, sports activities, gaming events, debates, seminars, workshops, etc. are amazing and are great source to enjoy and learn engineering.

Hostel is mandatory in our campus. There is almost everything in the hostel but there is a shortage of water in the campus. The food isn't not good as expected. If we talk about electricity there is no such problems of that. The hostel gives single room to all in fourth year while for first year it is triple sharing and for second and this year it is double sharing. The buildings are pretty old as the college is itself very old. But timely renovation are done and new building are being made over time. All hostels have their own separate mess where you get all three times meal and two times tea.

The alumni network is good. The alumni of GBPEC provides guidance and even conduct workshop for us. They help us in various career related things. The alumni always contacts new firms to visit our college.

I got the admission in this college through JEE mains score. If u have got the rank up to 2.5 lakh in general u will be able to get admission in this college easily. Nowadays the college has started admission on the basis of class 12 th marks as well. There are mtech courses based on gate score and PhD too. There is an another course MCA in this college too for which there is a separate entrance exam.

The facilities of the college are Gud and knowledgeable but not all. Some faculty use to scold you too. But more or less if you ask for help there are surely going to do. many of the facilities are mtech from iit having great skills too. You can ask for help anytime whether through what's app or anything that's upto you they are always there to help you
