Course curriculum is very good. They have been following the same curriculum that is followed in Dublin. There are quizzes, sessionals, mid semester exam(mst) and end semester exam(est). They follows relative CG pattern.

At Thapar About 90 % Children Are Placed In COE branch in Thapar in the top-notch companies like Microsoft, Infosys, TCS and many more offering packages upto 40 LPA and some startup placements too. The average Package Is About 10 LPA while the lowest is given by the mass recruiters like 3-5 LPA. Management Based And Technical Jobs Were Offered Mainly.

Events organised in our college are great. Events in our college have been the centre of attention. There doesn't go a single day when you don't see a society having an event, and that is the X-factor of Thapar to which students get attracted. With 43 societies, you have a large connection all around Thapar and north India, and there is a lot to explore.

Fee structure is expensive. The fees will be around 4 LAKH per annum including hostel and mess fees. People from middle class generally have to take loan to pay the fees.Although mess fees is average, hostel fee is very expensive.

Thapar provide scholarships on JEE rank basis, real CG basis. There is also a program called alumni scholarship which are provided to economically weaker section students.There is SBI and ICICI Bank inside the campus that provide loan for fees.

The classrooms and labs are air conditioned. Smart boards are used for teaching. The latest technology is used. Quality of food in canteen is very good. I did'nt face any infrastructure related issue during my tenure till now at the college.

Hostels in 1st year are not that good but after 1st year they are really good. Quality of food in canteens is good. Hostel rooms in 1st year are not good but in 4th year rooms are like 5 star hotels. Wi-Fi, medical facilities, library, sports like facilities are worth it. No I didn't face any issue.

There is a alumni interaction cell where anyone can go and can reach or talk to alumni of this Institute. Seniors here are very supportive. There is no case of ragging in atleast last 20 years.Seniors guide you with placements and other academic things.

I got admission through my JEE main rank in 2016. On the basis of my rank, I was allotted my branch. For admission, you have to come along with personal details like Aaadhar card etc. There will be a panel, who will call you in decreasing rank order.

The Teachers As Far As I Feel Are Average. Few Of The Teachers Are Too Good, They Show Ample Interest While Teaching Whereas Few Of Them don't Care That Much. The Course Curriculum Is Good And The Students Will Be Industry Ready At The End Of 4 Years. Overall Worth Experience.
