College life is unforgettable. You cannot forget your experiences. You learn a lot many things, develop contacts. End up doing a partial MBA course though you won't get a certificate for that. Overall teaches you to be self dependent.

Course is good, you almost get all the necessary information throught 4 years to get a good enough placement. Lots of self study will be required. It's not "life set" only by entering the college. Some teachers are definitely moody, but some are quite brilliant.

Placement and job opportunities are great, in fact even if you are average in everything you may end up getting a very good job. Internships are there for 6 months in 6th semester. It's a new avenue opened up and definitely looks promising.

Almost every festival is celebrated in hostels and student communities. Some national level festival are celebrated officially. There are various cultural and technical fests namely Utkarsh, Confluence, Techspardha

It's quite feasible and affordable for everyone. I mean EVERYONE. Because it being a central government institute. Not only is it affordable but it also provides scholarships to deserving and needy students

There are many scholarships available some based on CGPA and some based on 12th standard marks. Some are based on research criteria. Some are based on needs. Deserving and needy students get what they require.

Sports facilities are great. Everything is available. Everything is for your use. Labs are average with most of the equipment available but slightly outdated. There is a clinic as well for some medical attention.

Hostel is just an average one but it is the life you lived in hostel which really makes it unforgettable. You do everything by yourself. You literally are prepared for loving alone and self dependent.

Alumni are great. They will be helpful to you throughout you college and life. They help you build contacts , help you in academics, helps toh get along with teachers. No case of ragging reported in recent times.

Try to give best possible in JEE mains. Nowadays criteria is solely JEE mains rank around 4000-7000 for Computer and IT branch. 8000-12000 for ECE branch. 13000-15000 for EE and ME branch. And 15000-20000 for PIE

That depends on perspective of everyone. We have some brilliant teachers putting all the efforts but they make tough exam papers and are thus disliked by sime students, whereas some average teachers who don't give as much effort are liked purely because they make an average paper.
