IIT JEE Yes, I had many other options - to pursue an engineering course in other IITs.

The course curriculum is very nice (regularly updated according to industrial needs). One has to do introductory courses in all departments giving glimpses of all other (courses are designed so that one definitely got help in future courses or in life generally for being a well overall person) Electives- 3 compulsory department electives (from various courses)3 institute electives- which can be taken from any other department.

Hundreds of companies, startups, NGOs are coming to get internees for winter as well as summer. I didn't get any Internship from the placement cell of the institute but will be getting soon (shortlisted for interviews by many companies, interviews are scheduled after end sems )Average stipend for winter - 12k/month for winter (outside Mumbai) 10k/month (inside Mumbai)Summer- 20k/month (outside Mumbai), 18k/month (inside Mumbai)
