Remarks

My college is one of the great college of Delhi University. There is good staff and students. There is a good environment of studies for those who are there to study. There are always some bad people around you. You need to be aware of those guys and try to be in good company of people. It will save you and your future.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

My course i.e pol science has an average staff. It is not that good but at the same time they are very helpful to some students who are in their good books. You will find all the course related stuff in the college library. So, you need not worry about the books related stuff.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, there are internship in our college especially to B.com hons. And b.com students. There was internship opportunity for our course also this summer but i didn't opted for that as i was in my hometown.

Placement Experience

1.5

Placements is just a myth in our college. Just some NGO'S come to our college for the B.com hons. Students. So, it is my humble request to you that don't come to the college if you guys are looking for placement opportunity.

College Events

4.5

There are various events celebrated in our college. Some famous events are:- 1. Fresher's party 2. College election which can be very controversial 3. Diwali Mela 4. College Fest in which famous stars perform 5. Various departments and societies of college conduct there annual fests 6. Farewell Party

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure of our college is very much feasible. My course costs me around 6000 per annum excluding exam fee which is around 1000 per annum. So, a total of around 7000 per annum is the fee of college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship can be availed in our college. There is fee concession for the students who can't afford the fees and they get the fee back into their respective bank account. There are other scholarship also which we can avail but i don't know about them as much so i will not comment.

Campus Life

4.5

Talking about extracurricular activities, there is a huge playground in the college campus with a lawn tennis court which is in horrible condition and a basketball court as well. You can issue basketball from the sports room and can play it. Sports room has table tennis, carrom, chess in it. You can give it a try also.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

There is no hostel in our college. You need to get accommodated in some P.G or a flat. Nearby there is flood of P.G'S and flats. So, you won't find any difficulty to get one. There are lot of brokers around the college but i will recommend you to just look around the college and you will surely find something good to live in.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors of the college behave very humble with the juniors. As there are election also when the fresher's come, so they won't be misbehaving with any of the juniors. Ragging is not part of our college and i guess none of the seniors will dare to do it.

Exam Structure

Exams are conducted every 6 months and when we talk about internals they consist of assignment or presentation and class test suff. Talking about the external they are conducted in the college and there is no strictness at all. We need to just fill the paper and will get average score in the externals. There is hardly any backlog in our course.

Admission

First, i to get in the cut off list of D.U and i got it in the 8th cut off under K.M quota. Then we rushed to the college along with all the important documents like 10th certificate, 12th certificate, provisional certificate, migration certificate and the K.M quota certificate and got it verified from the college administration. Done the process was over and i then took a P.G and joined the college thereafter.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty is not that good afterall they are all government employees. So, you need to really push them to get your work done. Principle and the A.O i.e the adminstration officer are really good. A.O helps the students to get their work done in a quick interval of time and he has helped me and my friend also.

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. The examinations also are based on applications, thus, helping us to enhance ourselves in all possibilities.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
