Remarks

Not much satisfaction because of the university culture is adopted here. The college administration is very strict regarding rules. They have a rule of putting the silly mistakes into disciplinary action and send them to Yoga Classes compulsorily.

Entrance Preview

I have qualified IIT JEE- Advanced 2013 with AIR-15369 with total marks 126 out of 360. I opted for this college because it has a good reputation among all IITs. And also as I was not able to get a good branch at any of the other IITs due to poor AIR so the last option was to opt for branches like Polymer Science and Technology, Ceramics Engineering, etc. Which are not generally opted intentionally. After getting into IIT Roorkee I heard of something about getting your branch changed after the first semester if you get decent CGPA so I have done that and now I am in Production and Industrial Engineering.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is good but not up to the mark in all cases. The subjects do not have a proper course structure. It doesn't have that much relevance with the industrial application that it should be. We have to learn many things apart from that for getting an internship or placement offers. With the focus of research, it is good but the way Some faculties are teaching makes it worse. I also heard that the faculties are allotted some courses randomly for teaching us so it can be seen in their teaching methodology. Some faculties are not taking much interest in teaching their courses. Although the students are also not interested the same response for both sides makes the lecture class big boredom.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, our college provides internship. As i am in my third year so I am eligible to apply for an internship. The no. of core companies coming for an internship related to my branch are less so the previous results show that only 10-15% of students get internships from the campus. Till today these companies have visited my branch Flipkart.com- 50k per month, ITC Limited-75k per month, Zimply SDE-20k per month, So average stipend is around 45k per month.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee Structure is feasible and not much expensive. If it becomes not feasible for anyone then he can get Merit-Cum-Means scholarship provided by the institute. Hostels(4 out of 5) are good but mess food is not that much(2 out of 5).

Fees and Financial Aid

Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship(Tuition fee waiver)SBI Scholar loan PNB Scholar Loan.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life is the best I have seen ever. The gender ratio is much horrible i.e. around 1:10. Diversity is very much except the students from eastern states are fewer. There is very many extracurricular activities to get involved with.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

All new hostels are single accommodated. Some old hostels are of dual accommodation.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, they are very helpful for all of us to know the opportunities present to explore with them. But i have not any interaction with any alumni yet.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is highly relevant, focusing on practical knowledge for real-world prep, though more hands-on application and updated content would strengthen it. Exams occur 6 times yearly; they are tough but fair for the course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .
