Remarks

College has good infrastructure. College has library facility. Total of 1500 titles, has good space for sports, college has hostel facility, canteen facility, transportation facility, labs are good, etc.

Placement Experience

College provide placement facility to our students. College has a placement cell, which guide us about placements. There are many companies which come for campus placement. Talented and hardworking students get selected in campus placement in reputed firms. Internship facilities are not provided by our college. The guidance to take internship in various companies.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee of our college is feasible. Fee for Btech course is less compared to many colleges. Fee for first is around 50000 rupees. For further years also the fee is almost same. Fee is affordable by most of the students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our Institute provide scholarship. Student can even avail scholarship facilities provided by State and Central Governments. Loan facility is not provided by our college those who need can avail from various banks providing it.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are provided to both boys and girls in our college. Hostel is situated inside our campus. Hostel is equipped with TV, internet etc. Hostel has good infrastructure. Total incampus capacity of hostel for boys is 60 students and for girls 113 students.

Alumni/Alumna

We do not get any alumni help as our college does not have any alumni association. College should work on this issue. Seniors are helpful, we get more support when we are in hostel. Our seniors guide us on various matters.

Admission

I got admission based on my rank in KEAM conducted commissioner of entrance examination(CEE). Admission is also given based on JEE marks also. I am pursuing my B.Tech in computer science engineering from this institute. They take a total intake of 60 students per stream. Admission to other state student is done through management quota.

Faculty

Our institute has good faculty. Our faculty are very well educated, all have good educational background. They are very supportive, our faculty also help us in guiding for future steps. They solve our problems about the subjects.

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

Good Exposure

I am currently pursuing B.Tech in Automobile Engineering from AACET. After 10+2, I gave KEAM(Kerala Entrance Exam) and filed an application form for the college.
