Great college Great infrastructure and teacher are very good. Strictness is also there which binds everything and the college is great in placements too. If not placed then one can work in other social fields and go for masters.
Course Curriculum Overview
It is great as it collaborates with colleges of Dublin. It not only involves study courses but the projects too that are Mangonel Buggy and other stuffs. The infrastructure facilitates smooth functioning of the curriculum.
Placement Experience
Here placements in computer branch is great with maximum number of placements in that course. Here Microsoft, JP Morgan, Tata gives placements. Highest package was 32lac and Apple has also come here for internship.

Fee Structure And Facilities
Can be said of in between feasible and expensive. 3lac p.a. with hostel around 1lac p.a. But it has high number of scholarships based on JEE results, CGPA and other Qoutas. It's not expensive as Amity or not feasible as government college.

The facilities of labs are very cool. You can find every equipment here with well developed labs and knowledgeable lab instructors. The sports facilities are also good. Thapar has synthetic track, swimming pool badminton court basketball tennis football and volleyball courts.
Alumni/Alumna
Thapar has great almumini networks Anup Kumar Mittal, Rajiv bansal and Robin Raina are some notable alumini. When a student is in a society we get a family na there the seniors help a lot in both academic and other problems.
Admission
On the basis of JEE mains result I got admission in the college. it depends upon the seats remaining in that particular course and thus the counselling take place. On that seat allotment itself fees has to be paid with hostel facility if required.
Faculty
They are really great as they have post graduated from outside India and they have extreme knowledge too. They not only teach but work on research papers and projects too. They work very hard and teach in both modern and simplified manner.
