My College

Overall the college is good. What matters the most is placement which is above average though the campus and infrastructure is not so good as compared to other NIT's and IIT's. The college organises a sufficient number of extracurricular activities and the workshops organised most helpful for the students.

The course Curriculum in our college focuses on pratical learning rather than just being theoretical that helps a lot during interviews and the curriculum is strictly according to today's demand. Exam structure is very basic. There are 8 semesters with 2 exam each sem with 2 viva's (1 internal and other external) and 2 class tests.

Our college's best part is placements. Nit Patna provides good placements and job opportunities to it's students, especially to CSE students. They prepare their students really well for the interviews and also provide chances for internship to 3rd and 5th sem students.

First of all Fresher's party organised by our seniors. It was really good and breathtking. Dancing, singing, comedy and what not. It was a day to remember. Then robowar in which we made our own robotic arm and compete with it. Then the eccentrica the inter departmental competition in which students took part in many extra curricular activities to help their branch win.

Fee structure of our college is feasible and not very expensive though the fees has seen a significant rise in last few years but still it is feasible as it categorizes the fee structure as per the annual income of the student's family.

All the students with annual income less than 1 Lakh get tuition fee waiver. Students with annual income between 1-5 Lakh avail some discount in annual fees while SC /ST students get full fees waiver. There is a rule of scholarship for meritorious students too.

The labs in our college is good and a number of extra curricular activities are orgainsed. Though the sports facilities are not so good as only good players are allowed to play the sport and no proper coaches are provided for the betterment of team only seniors take care of the team. Overall sports activities are a bit below average.

Hostel facilities are average. For first year students the number of students in a room is 4 which is more. But other facilities like water, etc are good. Some hostels don't have their own mess so we have to go to other hostels. Mess food is good but sometimes the taste is not so good.

The senior students of our college are really helpful and hard working. They keep on organising different workshops on different topics for the betterment of our knowledge and to provide us direction in the field of our interest. They also organise other extra curricular activities and help us with the academics as well as sports too.

I lived in Udaipur and decided to prepare for JEE and hence I dropped one year from Jaipur to pursue coaching for JEE. After hard work of one year I cracked JEE mains and appeared in Josaa counselling amd then I tried my luck in CSAB through which I got admission in NIT Patna, CSE branch.

Faculty of our college is average. They have a good knowledge of the subject and are experts but sometimes they fail to express themselves in front of the students but they are very helpful and supportive.
