Remarks

Overall, I can say that Hindu college has been the best part of my life. I got an exposure to the best things that I could not get anywhere. I got some great people to know and learn a lot from them. I got to learn a lot from teachers and the tradition of the college. In a nutshell, I can say *Hinduites are Dynamites*.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The exams are scheduled twice a year, i.e. semester wise. The curriculum includes some such skills and ability enhancement courses/subjects that are really good for one's overall development and they definitely help the students to learn things beyond their course.

Placement Experience

3

There are a few societies run by students with the assistance of a teacher-in-charge. They handle placements and internships opportunities for the students and are very much successful at it. But looking at the courses College provides, there is not much scope for the placements but there is a huge scope for the students interested in Internships. And the college itself provides some internships for the Science students, in it's own campus. I haven't done any internship as I don't want to pursue my career in Science.

College Events

5

There are numerous events in the college, from department/society level to the inter college level. 1. Most of the departments and societies organizes their own freshers parties, annual fests and farewell parties. 2. There are college fests such as Mecca(Cultural fest), Mushairah(Literary fest), Vaktavya(Annual Conclave). 3. College organizes freshers party, foundation day party and graduation night(farewell party).

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite low. The courses are very much feasible. The fee for all the courses is confined between Rs.15,000 to Rs.20,000. With this, the facilities, infrastructure and opportunities provided to us are no match to others.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no such scholarship or loan facility that college provides that can compensate for the students fee or living expenses. But there are a few small (ranging from a few hundreds to a few thousands) that are given to students on the basis of their academic performance.

Campus Life

4

We're provided an unmatched opportunity to excel and develop our skills through ECAs. We've a huge sports complex and a sports room. The labs further Science students are pretty much good with well functioning equipments but sometimes the equipments are pathetic, as being the government funded institution, it takes some time to replace the damaged instruments. But overall, we've a great opportunity for developing our skills and excelling in almost and field.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Yes, I live in hostel. It in on-campus hostel. It costs around Rs. 55,000-60,000. With this fee, the infrastructure and facilities provided are very good. We have our library, common room, laundry room, sports equipments and other basic requisites. And the most important thing, the food is amazing in the hostel at such a cost price in Delhi.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are very much helpful. When I came in here, I had no idea about how to go about the college and all, but seniors helped me everytime. And that's a perk of being a hosteler. For the alumni, there's an old students association union of the college that organizes some events throughout the year.

Admission

I got admission in 2017. I came with my documents, such as 12 and 10 marksheet, TC, migration and other required documents. I had to get them verified from my school and then submit them within the time for which the merit was open. After submitting the documents, I had to pay the admission and College fees for the annual session and to get my admission confirmed.

Faculty

4

The faculty is quite good. Although most of the teachers are on ad-hoc basis, because of less number of permanent seats for the teachers than actual requirements. And sometimes guest teachers are also invited to teach, if required. The faculty is exceptionally good when comes to comparison with other colleges but some teachers are out of the league, may be because of their old teaching styles or their years of experience.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum consists of relatable topics and interesting ones as well this is what quite influenced me to take this course. We have labs which help us learn how to prepare various organic compounds which are used in many day to day products . The course also has a 4th year research program. There should be more equipments in lab for the research. The frequency is good for exams being conducted and there level is also quite good

The students become eligible for the placements provided by the college in their 3rd year, while they can pursue internship offered by the college in previous years. Average sized companies visited the campus with lots of students being placed for jobs. The highest package I am not aware of but lowest was of around 300000 pa. I plan to pursue masters after my graduation degree.

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.
