Remarks
There are no negative remarks on the college. The academic side is good with highly qualified faculty and labs. The extra curriculum side is also good. The college campus is really beautiful and peace. Students can live the college life to the fullest with lots of freedom.
Course Curriculum Overview
My course was Btech in Mechanical Engineering under Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technological University. Overall the course curriculum was good. Talking of exam structure there were total 8 semesters, 2 internal exams and a university exam on each semester including practicals.
Placement Experience
Placements and job oppertunities provided by the college was good but not upto the level. Ours is a private engineering college and hence only lesser companies came to the college for providing placements and job oppertunities.
College Events
The main events celebrated in our college were tech fest, arts fest, freshers day, farewell day, every festivals including onam celebration, christmas celebration and many other course related workshops
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure varies for different admission procedures. Students in government merit seat has much lesser fees when compared with the students who got admission under management seats. Many scholarships were also provided.
Fees and Financial Aid
Both scholarships and loan facilities were offered by our college. Talking about scholarships the main scholarship encouraged was merit cum scholarship on the basis of academics. Several other good scholarships and loan facilities are provided
Campus Life
Sports are given higher importance. Students were trained on their talents and have shown good performances on various sports and games. Sports day is celebrated every academic year. Labs have met good rewuirements. Theyprovide with high quality labs and equipments
Alumni/Alumna
An alumni assosciation of former students are there.Alumni meetings were conducted every year. They are really helpful as the former students help the juniors thrive success by helping them in whatever way they can.
Admission
I attended the kerala engineering entrance examination and was shortlisted in the merit category. I got admission in this college in government seat seat in the third allotment. This is the government merit admission process.
Faculty
Faculty on our college, especially faculty on mechanical engineering is the backbone of the department. They were well educated and have good working experience with a lot of knowledge. They were student friendly and helped students reach greater heights.
