Building a future in the midst of mountains.

Positive- The natural is at its best here. Location is serene, air is pure with 0 pollution. Everyone related to the college is a big family. All for all. Negative- the rules are strict for girls. No outing after 6pm. Despite of being a co-ed there's a bar of difference between boys and girls.

The course and syllabus is pretty outdated, to be honest. But there are regular workshops and seminars to fill the void and keep us aware of everything. There are two internal tests of 15 marks each and semester exams of 100 marks per semester.

As the college is situated in the midst of mountains, traveling isn't that easy here. So, often the students have to go for off campus placements. But, most of our alumni are well placed and well settled now. No, the college doesn't provide internship. The students have to arrange it themselves.

There are several events celebrated in college and the hostels as well. The main ones are: SPARDHA- It is the sports fest of the college with a variety of sport tournament. It includes cricket, basketball, volleyball, badminton, athletics, tennis, chess, carrom etc. It is a 2 day fest. SCINTILLA- It is the main fest of the college organised by students. It is a 3 day fest with a number of cultural performances and competitions. It's really fun. From blind date, face painting etc to DJ night it's amazing. AROHAN- It's the tech fest of the college. It's a 7 day fest. KAIVALYA- it's a fest organed by computer science department. It includes coding competitions, web development competitions and what not. It's a 3 days fest. CONSCIENTIA- it's a fest organized by biochem department for all. It's a 3 day fest. IGNITRON- it's a fest organized by electrical department for all. It's a 3 days fest. We celebrate almost all occasions such as teacher's day, vishwakarma puja, navratri etc.

Being a college funded by the government , It's quite feasible. The academic fees is around 33k per semester and the hostel is only 13k per semester with mess included. Also, there is special relaxation to the minority and TWF(Tuition fees waiver) students.

The students belongings to the minorities section are given 50% relaxation in the academic fees if their family income is low. And 2 students in every branch are given relaxation based on the JEE(main) merit list and low family income. This is Tuition fees waiver (TWF) scholarship.

Labs are good. With almost all working apparatus. They are well equipped. The sports are given proper time and facilities. But, for girls the rules a bit strict. They can't practice with boys in the boy's courts and playground. They have to practice seperately. That's it

The hostels are okayish. On a scale of 10 , I would give it a 5. The rooms are quite small. The ventilation is good with proper access to sunlight as well. The mess food is okayish. I miss homemade good alot tho :")

The almuni network is the strongest here. The seniors are very very helpful!. The alumni are always ready to help and provide the best advice. We can approach them anytime. They never disappoint us.

Every engineering aspirant in India, gives the JEE(main) exam. The marks in it decide their admission in our college. A merit list is prepared for all the applicants and then it is strictly followed for Alloting the branch.

The faculty is well trained and knowledgeable. But, some of them fail to give their best to the students. The sense of responsibility is low. Some of our professors are really active in providing us the best knowledge and opportunities available. But some just give lectures for the sake of giving with least interest.
