Remarks

Positives -Patient input, this gives us alot of opportunity to study and learn about the specific disease in detail. -professors dedication makes it easier for us to understand and learn things. -life inside the college never makes us feel low. -one of the best city and college to live in for 5 or more years Negative -lack of ground facilities

Course Curriculum Overview

5

It's for 5 and half years, exam structure varies every passing year, we will have to write two papers of 100marks each for every subject almost and minimum score 50% to pass in the exam, there will be internals exams conducted, we have to score minimum 35% to pass that, and only then we are eligible for University examination, usually held in the month of December.

Placement Experience

5

As it's MBBS course, we will have compulsory routine internship as per govt norms 20k/month is stipend for all the KCET students. Job opportunities after going out of college is plenty so many primary health centres, we can work in any of the govt hospitals with good pay, overall satisfied totally with this.

College Events

4.5

We celebrate ethnic day where we all dress in an ethnic wear like kurta, saree and all, sports day where we all come together and enjoy the events, cultural events, here we have so much fun where we all will enjoy with so much fun along with dancing, singing, drama, skit, MAD-ADS and many more.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible as it's a private college, this is one among the cheapest college to study in so many other colleges have heavy fee structure which is sometimes unbearable for people from poor background so this according to me is better choice in private colleges.

Fees and Financial Aid

It's purely government loan facilities which are available, first we will have to pay the fees to the college, the prescribed amount of fees is paid then the receipt is shown to the government who can avail free of cost and the government will sponsor it back to the privileged people. I haven't availed any so no much idea regarding that.

Campus Life

4

Labs are just amazing, even though this is an 50 year old college, lab hygiene, technology and the way we are taught is simply amazing, we are exposed to almost all sorts of experiments, we are made to learn every step, it depends on our interest too, and about sports. we don't have much exposure as we lack ground facilities.

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostel facilities are really good, 24 hour water and electricity, amazing South Indian food is given in the mess(seriously) we are indeed lucky to have such a good mess.and the hostel management people are also very friendly which makes our stay better and comfortable.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are the blessing in our college life so many alumnis who have left college, speak to us on daily basis, make us feel comfortable, give us that extra support which we almost constantly need and seek for, seniors have become brothers n sisters in another town like an extended family!

Admission

We will have to write the entrance examination, the procedure is through KCET, we will get a specific rank and we will have to apply to our college and depending on the rank and my preference, we will get the allotted seat and I got this college.

Faculty

5

They are really experienced, they teach us so well, no classes will be missed and during postings time. We get to learn so much from the professors so many patients exposure, the professors are dedicated, they are true gentlemen.

Course Curriculum Overview:

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.
