Remarks

It should focus on all its courses rather than only few. More attention should be given to arts courses. In my college it’s core course is engineering but it also offers other degrees of arts commerse , MBA , Law and many others but it only focuses on engineering. Very few sports events and cultural events are there for us. Neither we are the part of decision making as our no.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course content is very nice as it is autonomous plus deemed university so the course structure is same as of delhi university moreover additional feature here is u will get meditation plus yoga classes on every Thursday as our college is tagged with World Peace University.

Placement Experience

4

yes my College do provide internships but only to few students mostly rankers and others have to search on their own but faculty will help you in doing so. Regarding placement so in arts as u all know that employment opportunity after just completing graduation is very tough but for my course i.e eco hons company’s do come but package is quite low, highest was 6.5 in 2017

College Events

2

There are many evets celebrated in our campus but almost 80% are organised by engineering students. Festival like janmasthmi and dahi handi is celebrated at large scale. many cultural events are also there tym to time and in every month there are days celebrated like ethnic, western , retro etc

Fee Structure And Facilities

I think fee structure is bit expensive especially for economics hons of arts stream. Other courses like political science and English hons use to pay 50,000 rupees per annum but for economics its one lakh per annum

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is provided by the college every year but on certain conditions which is difficult to fulfill its really harsh on students. It’s very difficult for arts stream students to get a scholarship because they will never fall in the criteria of minimum no. Of students each class

Campus Life

5

For commerce and arts stream students there is no labs or something like that even sports for this stream is very less. All sports events are dominated by science students and almost zero participation from arts stream because there is very less chance that u can play for ur college

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Yes I have opted for hostel as well as mess. College hostel is quite costly. It charges 70000 per annum but u can easily get pg or good flats at low cost then this and no special facilities are given by the hostel. Infrastructure is nice

Alumni/Alumna

No. I didn’t feel or realise till now. Still my one and half year is pending so I can’t tell u much regarding this. Seniors do have good relations with us but no such contacts and college it’ is very less interested

Admission

Through test and interview what which college conducts every year. Its form will be released by December or January on its website and it will cost you near thousand rupees. After filling form it will release test date and accordingly u need to appear for arts and commerce.

Faculty

4.5

College facilities are very nice of MIT WPU As they are very friendly and nice. Some faculties are very sound with their knowledge and some are not. It’s depends on course you have opted for. For my course my Hod is very nice.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.
