College experience is overall good. It is situated between hills. College has improved over the years, now it supports and encourages sports, and other activities. According to me everyone here enjoys the time being in this beautiful place.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course which I study is Computer science and engineering, which is pretty good course. The curriculum here is followed as is followed in IITs. The exam structure for each semester is first MID TERMS and EMD TERMS.
Placement Experience
The placement for CSE department is 98.7 percentile. The college also offers internship opportunities with diffrent companies and also provide opportunities in college itself. The average package is about 5 lpa.
College Events
The college celebrates events and festivals overall year. The college has clubs and societies which organise events all around the year. There are events based on technical field, sports, management, art etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible compared to other provate colleges and is expensive compared to goverment colleges. The four years of Btech course costs around 10 lakhs. The fee for each year is paid on two settlements, one in july and one in december.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college provides fee waiver to the students who get good marks. The college also provide loans to the students who actually need it and also help students get loans from banks at good intrest rates.
Campus Life
DIT UNIVERSITY supports and encourages extracurricular activities and sports. We have a event for sports SPHURTI every year and for extracurricular activities we have YOUTHOPIA every year. Every subject has a period for labs.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumini network of DIT is strong, every senior and pass outs help us alot. Whenever an event or function is organised, the aluminis are always a part of it. They help the students to grow and help them to crack placement.
Admission
I got admission on the basis of merit list based on 12th percentage. On the day of admission they put out the merit list based on the 12th percentage and also on the rank scored in IIT Mains and IIT advance.
Faculty
The faculty of the college is good. Every teacher is a post graduate or a doctrate holder. They teach in english and are able to clear our doubts very nicely. The teaching is up to the mark and also in refrence to the gate exam.
