This is not the college life i was looking forward when i was a boy. If you want to enjoy the college life please stay away from college. But if you want a brand name with strict rules then come for it.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is pretty standard compared to other colleges and marks evaluation is also standard. Here in our college they follow relative grading system. Marks are divided into 4 sections, 1.1st periodical exam 2.2nd periodical exam 3. Continues evaluation 4.final semester exam
Placement Experience
Placement offers are pretty good for computer science department and for the other departments i don't think they are good for any other departments especially mechanical engineering. The other department students are struggling to get placed in I.T itself.
College Events
Amritanandamayi math aka. Amma is chancellor of our institution. Her birthday is on September 27, which is the biggest event in our college campus. Other than that there are some minor events and celebrations like Bharath mata puja , Vidyut fest, Calotsavam, diwali etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee Structure is way to high in this college. I feel the fee is pretty expensive, and it increases per year. The fee which we are paying is less than the fees our juniors are paying. For a middle class family it is difficult to pay the fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
No loan is offered by college. If you want any kind of loan you should apply it by yourself from any of the banks.As I've applied for loan I'd say the intrest are damn high for an educational loan. College do offer some scholarships.
Campus Life
There are no extracurricular activities in this college which are followed regularly. If you are onto anything you should pursue it by yourself. The instruments and equipments in lab are almost 15 years old.
Alumni/Alumna
There is no alumini network or any kind of stuff like that. But we had our beautiful and kind hearted seniors who guided us through this tough journey. We have some friendly seniors here to help us. And there are no ragging in this campus.
Admission
After completing my 12th on 2016 i came to know about Amrita through my cousin brother and wrote the entrance exam. After almost a month results came and i got selected. After getting the results I and my parents visited the college campus for admission. There we are told to pay ?1000 as a caution deposit and the admission process was done.
Faculty
This college have a good name and fame but the faculties are not upto the mark in terms of knowledge and knowledge deliverance. Some don't have much knowledge about the subject others don't know how to deliver their huge knowledge.
