Nice start to something new in life

Very quite out here and environment is too sound,kinda love this place.people out here here are lovely and it really changed my perception about haryanvis.Something that I want is minimumattendance requirement to be cut down as it fades aways the opportunities for students to do something new and better.

Most courses are quite common quite common which can be seen in other colleges too like electrical engineering,mechanical,computer engineering ,etc. but few new courses like Information Technology are added to the curriculum to achieve expertise in today's current leading topics.

The jobs in CS, IT and ECE are quite good. Companies come and take almost everybody from these companies but students have to work hard in branches like mechanical and production so they either go for an external job interview or for govt jobs thought gate, and many more exams like that.

Three fests are organised every year in our college.first one is utkarsh which is a cultural fest where people enjoy,dance,shows their talents to the viewers.Second one is techspardha which is a technical fest which includes events related to technical stuffs like robots racing ,fighting,coding compitition,etc.Last one is confluence which is a literature and cultural fest where students get the opportunities to show the viewers the art they were hiding from the world for soo long.

Quite feasible in comparison to most govt. College like now IIT's have a fee of about 1.2lac per semester (for general category)and since these are the govt colleges so you can't expect any less from the private colleges.Our college fee is around 80k per semester.

Since it is govt college so they offer scholarship to sc/st and low family income category students which I feel is good for low family income category but not necessarily for sc/st students ,they could fall in same family conditions as ours, who knows.

Sports culture is very good over here except for swimming which was introduced a few years ago.labs are good and about extra curricular activities college has about 8 society belonging to different student interest so student can join any of them and can do something which eases their mind from academics for few hours.

My hostel is quite old infact the oldest hostel of our college made in 1950'd I guess.but some new hostels are also made recently which can accommodate about 2000 students in it having a good infrastructure too.but in comparison to boys hostels girls hostels are way too luxurious.

Seniors are very helpful out here they know what problems we could face in the college so they help us out in every way possible.some of the alumni have been very inspirational to me as they showed a tremendous amount of enthusiam and determination in them.

Through the entrance exam called JEE MAINS held all over india and I secured a AIR 7000 and opted for this branch(Information Technology) in NIT KURUKSHETRA just after I finished my 12th board examinations.

Like any other govt colleges the faculty if quite up to mark but like we all know they are all not the same.But it's the student who matters in my opinion in colleges not the professors,so yeah I won't grade any teacher cause I'm not the right one to do so.They are techer and I guess they always think best for their students.
