As per my knowledge i have majority positive remarks and only one negative remarks such as the high fines and some extra charges in the college management which i have experienced in the corresponding course year in the college

The fees structure is very good and feasible as compared to other colleges but the fines and special fees by the college is on the higher side and one should be very well aware of the marginally higher fine rates in the college

There is good scholarship offered by the college for the students who scored marginally higher grades in the lateral entry examination which is required to get admission in the college directly to the second year

There is some extracurricular activities in the college which comprises of both physical as well as mental improvement activities and there is sometimes labs activities for improvement in the field of course management

the alumni network is very best in the college.Several improvements have been made as per the contribution of alumni network in the college and has vastly improved the knowledge and experience sector of the college administration

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

A feel good campus

For getting admission in this great campus,one should pass the 12th grade in the Science stream.One of the great advantage I need to add about this campus is the fee structure.The one who scored 90% and above in 12 th will get a fee reduction of 50% including tution fees and bus fees.Also one who scored Full A+ or Full A1 in the 12th need not to pay any tution fees for the entire course.Students can blindly go through the campus because of the fees structure. I have applied in CET trivandrum, barton hill trivandrum, tkm college of engineering, Rajiv Gandhi institute of technology Kottayam..I didn't get admissions in these colleges through government quota because of my poor entrance score in Keam.So I tried to get admissions through management quota.I have applied for management quota in valia koonambaikkulathamma college of engineering and technology for electrical and electronics engineering. finally I got a seat for electrical engineering there. Admission criteria for there is just Keam qualified.. So I got it.
