I have applied in CET trivandrum, barton hill trivandrum, tkm college of engineering, Rajiv Gandhi institute of technology Kottayam..I didn't get admissions in these colleges through government quota because of my poor entrance score in Keam.So I tried to get admissions through management quota.I have applied for management quota in valia koonambaikkulathamma college of engineering and technology for electrical and electronics engineering. finally I got a seat for electrical engineering there. Admission criteria for there is just Keam qualified.. So I got it. Because of my good score in 12 th I got 5000 reduction in annual fees..They told me about their placement history and I was satisfied.

I have choose this course because of its high opportunities in abroad countries. There are sufficient faculties for students.. students faculty ratio is about 20:1. The teaching faculties are well qualified and they took their maximum efforts to help the students. Their teaching method is nice and students can easily catch them. Series exams and class tests are conducted on every month and it it easy to pass the exams for students who follow their studies up to date.

Zewia software solutions Pvt. limited trivandrum give offers internship for computer science engineering students and electronics engineering students. They give a stipend of 3000. Skill tern trivandrum with a monthly stipend of 2000-7000. iLapz technologies patton trivandrum give an internship program for students with a monthly stipend of 8000.

From 7th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placement selection. Infosys, technopark are the main companies visited here and give more than 100 opportunities per year..an average package of 40000/year is offered by most of the companies. Computer science Students got more opportunities in campus placement because IT companies are offered more job opportunities. Campus placement is very less for civil engineering studens and mechanical engineering students.. about 20-40 percentage of students here got job opportunities through campus placement from here. My plan after getting the BTech digree is for doing Mtech.

Fee Structure is different for different courses.for mechanical engineering 50000 annually,civil engineering also the same fee structure. For electrical and electronics engineering 30000/year and the same is for electronics and communication engineering. For computer science and engineering fees is 35000 annually. This is the basic fee structure.. There are lot of scholarship for students. There is 50% reduction in fees for students who got Keam rank between 5000-10000 and a 100% fee reduction for those tho got Keam rank within 5000. Students who got 95% or more in board exams got a fee reduction of 50%.

Due to kovid-19 there is no tech fest or annual fest in the last two years..But they conducted tech fest via online mode..asthra is the name of online tech fest. Books and journals are available sufficiently for students need.main sports in our campus are cricket, football, vollyball, handball, kabady... Extra curricular activities include green club, arts club, nss for service... Nature club Is one of the clubs run by us.
