Remarks
I feel very good being a Hinduite and feel very proud to say Hindu College and Delhi University. It's one of the best college in the while country. People from all over the country wants to be a part of it.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our college follows CBCS system in which there are 2 semesters every year for 3 years which means total 6 semesters in which there are 4 subjects in each semester. Exams are held two times every year, once in nov-dec and again in may-june.
Placement Experience
Placements are held in the last year which is the 3rd year. Though I have no experience of it yet personally but my elder brother who graduated from the same college a few years ago got his name in the college placement and now earns some good bucks.
College Events
Our college is fulfilled with events. The main event is the annual event which is held yearly in feb-march that is Mecca, which is one of the biggest events in university. People from some other colleges also come to see a glance of mecca every year. Apart from that every society has its own separate event yearly with a good budget and lots of sponsors.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Hindu College comes under Delhi University which is a Government university. So, the fees is quite feasible. It's 15000 rupees yearly. And, as a matter of fact I got admission in management quota, I get some concession in fees payment.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have no experience in that field. Neither have I got a scholarship yet nor any loan. I cannot say anything about that and as far as I know, I haven't even listened anyone talking about it. So, maybe it's inappropriate to say anything on this.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities are quite good. We have a big ground, a basketball court, a badminton court, a volleyball court and a gymnasium as well. And the basketball and cricket team is quite good as far as I know.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, in fact i was afraid about the ragging performed in the premises but the seniors are very helpful and they treat us like their younger brother. Alumni of this college include Gautam Gambhir and many other stars.
Admission
I achieved a quiet good percentage in 12th but not good enough to get a name in a reputed DU college, but as a matter of luck, my father is an employee in the same college. So i got admission through the management quota. God bless my dad.
Faculty
College faculty is blessed with highly educated and reputed staff. The teachers are also down to earth and caring for us. My attendance was so low but they accepted my medical without any hesitation.
