Best among nits

There are both positive as well as negative remarks in the college. All the above are the positive for sure and we are one among top five NITS. One among top 2eight institutions in our countries Negative is only one point as per my view. It is the hostel buildings are very old (few are new and few are under construction)

The course curriculum varies from branch to branch but the main moto of the college curriculum is to cover the complete syllabus of the gate syllabus of that particular branch. Apart from this we also get opportunity to learn other branch related courses which will be offered as global electives to us and it is even compulsory to take few global electives. Current exam structure is One mid exam, Few assignments, One end sem exam

The placements in our campus are really excellent. We get many companies like Amazon, Microsoft, goldman Sachs, cisco, fidelity, l and t, tata motors, GE, bajaj and many more. Yes, our college students get selected as interns as well. The stipend varies from company to company. As per my observation there is very huge scope for IT related companies to recruit us.

Apart from the study activities in the college. We have two fests which take place in either of the semesters each. They are thatva and ragam. These two fests are the real days where we enjoy alot with DJ nites and bike stunts and many more to explore. We even allow out siders to enjoy with us(they need to purchase entry tickets)

The fee structure is very low compared to the private institutions. Even though if you feel the fee structure is high. We have a option of reduction in fee as per your parents' income. So people joining our college need not bother much about the fees. There are many scholarships available which will make your living easy.

I don't know much about the scholarship but I have idea of loan system. There is sbi bank specially linked to our college which gives the loan to our college students which need to be refunded after our completion of education

The labs are highly equipped and maintenance work is done by well experienced members. The equipment to student ratio in the lbs is very good. We have to do 15NSS hours in our college life and which is compulsory. We conduct blood donation camps. We conduct stem cell donation camps. There will be inter nit competition conducted by government every year. Our campus allows and gives equal opportunity to the skilled players to participate in the events

I would rate it as above average because few hostels are good and few bad. The food styles available in our campus are many and any student from any part of our country can easily find his favourite one

We have connections with the previous batch people and all the foreign working alumni form a group and give mentorship to the interested students as per their field of interest. They give guidance for gre exams and foreign seeking jobs as well

First and foremost thing to do is to crack JEE mains exam. The rank or score to crack the entrance exam depends on the category they belong to. Once after clearing the exam there will be a common selection process for every student through JOSAA platform where you need to set your preference order of the colleges (govt.). Then you will get the college as per your order of college.

Every permanent faculty member of our college is with minimum qualification of PhD. College takes feedback from the students after every semester regarding the faculty and course after which necessary actions will be taken to rectify the drawbacks in the teaching system. Every teacher in the Institute is student friendly and helps us in giving proper guidance towards our career and also be helpful by giving suggestions to withstand personal problems.
