Canteen is pretty good. The library is one of the best in university, the admin staff is uncooperative.

We study subjects like real analysis, group theory etc which is the analytical part of mathematics which I like the least. Some good subject is also there. Here system is semester-based. Syllabus and other things are university-based here. P.s. The generic subject option is also there. It can really impact your further studies, please choose wisely

Mata Sundri placement cell is very active in terms of internships. As of placement, there are no such companies come specifically for maths Hons except some BPOS. Although there are companies who come for BCOM students with the ok-ish package.

All DU colleges have this advantage of having culture fest and societies. You can be in whichever college but can enjoy every college fest in the season. There are star-studded nights, gaming days in every college. Being particular about my college the fest (named SARANG) is quite ok and they have invited stars like hardy Sandhu,nuran sister, Noddy Singh etc.

As this is a government institution its fees are obviously very less as compared to any private college but if I compare in my university this college is far expensive than others. For instance, 1 year fees for maths Hons in Moti Lal Nehru college is 5000 approx 1/4th of my college fees.

No one would be needing any loan for this much expanse in my opinion. As far as scholarship is concerned obviously you can avail one but the process is little hectic. Like everywhere else you'll be needing many documents including BPL card.

It's a girls college hence you know the gender ratio. Apart from this it's a decent college there are many disadvantages being in a girls college but I won't dig deep here, you can know more by joining one. Apart from that this college is in central Delhi. Rajiv chowk and cp is at 10 min distance hence adds a plus point.

There are not many interactions with senior or with any other courses students until or unless you joined any society or you are a member of students Union.

From my childhood, I loved playing with the number and hence maths. I almost scored full every time. As per my percentage what I got in 12th, I Searched colleges in University Of Delhi and hence cleared cutoffs for three colleges (Bharti college, Janki Devi and Mata Sundri in which in I'm currently studying).

Faculty is fine here. Almost all teachers are graduated or have done post-graduation from Delhi University Only. In my opinion they put there as much effort as a private institution teacher has put. Lecture varied from morning to evening. There are well-functioned labs and equipment.
