Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is old and rigid, still teach old methods and syllabus is updated slow. But with introduction of SEC and VAC courses student have some different options which they can choose to study for their semester. The SEC and VAC courses provide a different and interesting options beside their core discipline subject.
Internships Opportunities
Our college placements cell is the one that looks after internships. Right at the end of the first year, we are qualified for internships and our college helps us with that. Stipend depends on the companies and roles but it not less than 8-10k ever. The internship totally based on skills and requirements needed for that particular post.
Fees and Financial Aid
At Mata Sundari College for women in Delhi, the fees structure is 23000, which include tuition fees around 300 to 500, development fees around 5000 to 7000, caution fees around 500 to 1000 and other compulsory charges range between 12000 to 15000. So, my total course fees for studying here will be 68000 approx. The scholarship provided by the college are Post Matric Scholarship for students with disability, kalpana Chawla Chatravriti Yojna and many more.
Campus Life
The overall campus is good. We have annual fest called Saarang which is quite famous in delhi university. The College cafeteria had a lot of options and affordable too. The library and computer labs are well maintained. The auditorium is quite huge and well air conditioned and the seats are quite comfortable.
Admission
Nirf ranking was one of the consideration for choosing this college. The admission process of the college depend upon CUET scores and the cutoffs for particular college. Based on your scores and preference list and cutoffs, you get admission to the college. Every college issue different cutoffs, if your scores match their cutoff then you are eligible for that particular college.
Faculty
The number of the faculty is quite good, you can approach them whenever you want for any advice. They are always helpful and welcoming. Basically the exams are divided into 2 semester. So we have to attempt 2 exams for each year. The level of the exam is quite easy. Students do not felt any difficulty while giving exams.
Night Life
The surrounding of our College is very quiet as the area mostly cover few main offices. Our College is near Maulana Azad medical college. The metro station is about 10 mins walk from our College. Proper accessibility of vehicles are available. As the college comes under such high offices area, so it is quite difficult to find any hangout places. Overall a Safe place.
