My college experience

This college is the place for mix crowd, as we can find here both shy and limited to the modern crowd among university.Taking of infrastructure, the college is of old infrastructure and also lacks of auditorium till now.But what adds up in it is that the college have lush green hilly area which makes it as a Breathtaking view in spring season Looking overall, it's one of the best college for student to boost up their skills and enjoy a college life

The college follows Choice based credit system (CBCS) in the syllabus course. It allows every student to choose course as their choice and even disciplines too as per choice. The examination pattern is same as of every Delhi University College i. e. Semester end examination pattern. We have to write free answers in details. The paper is of 75 marks plus 25 marks of internals, which are held before the semester end exams.

The college being one of the renowned and oldest among placement companies, provides the student full of opportunities to showcase their talent, entrepreneurship skills and management skills to get placed in companies with wealthy packages. The college also has placement cell and Entrepreneurship cell to help students in these internship and Placement fair. College at its own level doesn't provide any internship to its own students. But as I have learned the foreign students and learner are most welcomed to work as intern here

The college student union along with administration, alunmnis and cultural societies and other cells keeps on organising the internship fairs,the department fests, fun events, knowledge events. The combrosia society hosted Hotseat(KBC version) event this semester with around footfall of 500 hundered around University. The Wirtschraft society organised the knowledge cell and fun games. Most famous student organises Freshers party 'ROOBAROO' and the college annual fest 'PHOENIX' every year in the month of October and March respectively, inviting the famous singers and personalities around India to entertain the students of Delhi University. The college alumni organises their annual day event every year to appreciate the hard working talented societies and honour the academics plus sports toppers.

The Motilal Nehru college has the lowest fee around the Delhi University. The college is mainly concerned to provide quality education in the low fee. The main aim of institution is to provide an education to everyone, the one who can afford fee or not. And for this, the college also has provision to fulfill fee payment and payment for books from college welfare fund for the poor students The fee structure of different courses is different ranging from 7,000 - 15,000 annually.

The college provides annual fee concession scholarships to the eligible and needy students. Along with this the college provides National scholarships regulated by government. On it's own level the college is known to provide post graduation scholarships to the academic toppers.

The college is known videly for its sports team and Cultural societies around Delhi University and other universities. Over the past fifty years, our students and faculty members have brought laurels to the institution by excelling in academics, sports, social science and cultural activities. Our alumni have also done us proud with their achievements in administration, judiciary, entrepreneurship, creativity and other areas.

Some of the famous alumnis are Papon, the great singer from music industry, Karan singh Tanwar and Puneet Sharma

I cleared the cutoff merit of my college. Then I reached here with college admission papers downloaded from Delhi University portal. The admission process was quite simple, as with help of seniors and teachers present over there, I submitted all the required document ls and after the cross check of each n every document, they granted me admission in the college

Motilal Nehru college being one of the largest and oldest constituency, its faculty members are the most experienced. We are privileged to have inspiring faculty members in the college. Besides imparting knowledge through their classes our teachers also engage in research that contributes to the University as well as to the society. Some of the faculty members are also the authors and writers of Course books studied over university.
