Remarks

Postive- Down to earth atmosphere, Situated in a city, Kolkata(West Bengal), Friendly environment, no space for any kind of politics or violence. Negative- Very less scope of creativity and innovation.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Good enough but not great curriculum. As we know technology is being updated everyday. But our syllabus never changed after 2007. So we can say it was a backdated one. Exam structure is not very good, very less scope of creativity.

Placement Experience

2.5

Job opportunities are limited only in IT industries. Very few opportunities are there in core sector. No giant companies come for on campus placement. No they m evidence internship officially. But some faculties help student in this section though their channels.

College Events

3.5

Trainings in every semester break which helped us to enhance knowledge about the subjects and got some experience about real life projects. Cultural fest, tech fest, freshers, farewell were organised every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

40000+56000+38000+38000+39000+39000+40000+40000. This was the fee structure during my time. We can say this is bit expensive, but as the college is a private college so we can say that this amount of money is necessary to run an engineering college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yup there is a system for less sem fees(1000 rupees per semester). If your family income is less than 3 LPA then you can avail this facility. And the main thing is that there will be no discrimination in the college for this, you will also be treated as a normal student who is paying 40k.

Campus Life

3

Labs ar decent; fair enough to get the practical knowledge about the academic subjects but nothing fancy. If you want to do something yourself then you have to arrange It by yourself only. Very minimal support is provided by the lab authorities. No scope for sports activities.

Alumni/Alumna

Yup. They were helpful. Atleast some of them were really the one to be followed. They were our brothers and sisters more than seniors. But you also be very helpful, loyal to them. You should not take them for granted.

Admission

Participated in WBJEE Exam of 2014(State level Joint entrance exam of Wat Bengal) after passing 10+2, got a decent rank there. Got my college through online counseling process. Locked the choice and got admitted.

Faculty

3.5

Most of them were friendly. They helped us in the class and after the class also. But they also had their limitations. So we suffered sometimes. But the main problem was that they were ore focused about the academics more that real life problem solving.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
